this is the first perfomance i've seen of her as a kid , before i could even grasp the chance to learn more of her and enjoy her music , she had passed away :( right now 8 years later , i'm still coming back to listen to this song as it brings back the old classic days i hope we can have more artists like this in the future , not just some artists who write songs to stay relevant. when i was growing up , music played a huge part of not just in my mental growth but my morals too and also in the way i perceive different things. it brought me to a whole new world where i can connect with others and be more understanding. the lyrics were more than just words in the songs to me , it was a story. right now the magic in the music can't really be heard , i feel like so many young people nowadays dont really know how to appreciate some artists- they think is weird , uncool or outdated. they just aren't able to see the efforts and talent in them. i'm a teenager and i dont care how many years later , i will still come back to such classic songs , Alicia Keys , Amy Winehouse , Pink etc etc you will always be my role models and support for me. thank you for making my childhood a blast :)
