ABOUT ME:
Hello, my name is Renee, owner and founder of RB The Garden Nanny and I love what I do as a landscape designer and master gardener. It’s not considered work to me. I look at it as a way of beautifying one landscape at a time. It’s pure enjoyment. There are not many women in this field who not only own their own landscape business but also have a hand in all that is involved. I bring a women’s touch to landscaping.
Welcome to my channel. I look forward to inspiring you in some way through my videos. Please comment, subscribe, like and share. It helps a great deal for us content creators. I appreciate it!

Great job tidying things up looks great. You turned those plant containers into mini greenhouses, everything is perfectly organized
Hey Bull! Thanks for commenting and checking out the channel. Blessings friend!!
You have things organized. Everything is coming together.
I couldn’t function any other way. Thanks so much for watching.
12:33 I always feel colder than what the temperature says it is ❄️ You've got it looking good out there ❗️🌱
Thanks so much for watching. It amazes me how cold it can get in such a short amount of time.
Beautiful day. I'm glad you got a tidied space to work in. It makes things go so much soother. Thanks for sharing.
I thank the Lord I got the time I did, now I can sit back and enjoy! Thanks for watching.
You are doing a great job in your garden. That method of winter sowing is going to do great. Please keep us updated on the progress. Happy gardening
Aww thanks Renee. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
That will work because I am trying that and it works
Thanks so much for the support! I look forward to it.
You did an awesome job! I winter sowed two years ago. Some of my seeds did well. Most didn’t. I couldn’t sit it and forget it. I needed to water them. I’m direct sowing most hardy seeds. I may put a small few flower starts in the indoor greenhouse. Thanks for sharing.😊
Thanks for watching. It’s seems like there are so many variables to why things wouldn’t work but I’m looking forward to figuring out what works for me.
Never fail…. This is how we learn. I love your video updates. ❤. I can’t wait to see what will be next!
Aww thanks Bren! I’m glad it inspires in some way or another. Thanks again for watching. Much appreciated.
I like your method for winter sewing that you’re gonna be trying out. I saw that video from roots and refuge a couple years ago when she grew the lettuce.
I’m praying that my soil and everything as far as depth of seeds works out. I really think this process is a good one but time will tell. Thanks for watching.
That will work! I have done it using items from dollar tree for my winter sowing. The only thing you have to make sure your dome allows enough head space for the plant to grow. I used the cake carrier from dollar tree with some of their deep round containers.
Great tip! Thanks for watching and your comments. Much appreciated. Did you know your comments are turned off on your videos. I wanted to say your Veronica is gorgeous. Beautiful garden.
Thank you for sharing your ideas, I have some of those boxes already.. I used them to harden off my seedlings but you've demonstrated another use. My favourite idea is planting up your pots then putting them in the box. I don't drink milk or buy large bottles of water so boxes are a great substitute.
Blessings to you.😊
I’m praying it works and can’t wait to share the results. Thanks again.
Nice garden. Keep gardening and growing.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate you commenting!!
Love your garden
Thanks so much. I appreciate you watching.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. Much appreciated!!
I’m envious you’re still able to get outside and do some things. It’s just too cold here. But I’ve got my indoor garden and that’ll hold me til spring 😊 Keep up the good work. Looking very clean and organized out there. Me and winter sowing don’t do well either. I will be trying again this year.
I’m surprised from time to time myself. We are really going to get some cold temps this weekend so there you have it!!! Yes I love your indoor lettuce machine. Looks like there’s something for everyone. Thanks for watching.
You are great at organizing and arranging things in the most efficient and beautiful way!
Angela what a nice thing to say. Thank you!
Wonderful gardening area and green house. I love the bins and all the ideas you’ve shared. Thank you.
I appreciate you watching and your comment.

New sub here! Organized garden areas make gardening a lot more fun! I like your style and personality!
What a nice comment. I appreciate you for watching and I’m glad to have you here in my little corner of RUclips.
Thanks sis for the great show and tell. I think I'll try the green house container gardening.
Aww I'm so glad I've encouraged you to give it a try. It definitely won't hurt to try. My prayer is that it works wonderfully. I will keep you posted if you are a subscriber and hit that notification bell to be notified every time I release a new video. Would love to have you as a subscriber. Thanks for watching.
Great job. 💪🏾 I don’t have clear jugs, so I just use containers too. Anyways, love the greenhouse space! 🌱💚
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I'm glad there's another one out there using this method. After I get through commenting on this I will shoot over to your space and see if you have any videos to check out. Thanks again.
I am always reorganizing my planting storage. Never seems to stay organized! Looks great, job well done!
Thanks for watching.
I always sift my potting mixes/peat moss/composts before filling my seedling trays...really helps :)
Good tip. Thanks.
Awesome set up! It sounds like you've thought out your winter sowing plans well. Love it! Thanks for sharing. Subscribed.👍🏾
Yes indeed! I so appreciate you watching, commenting and subscribing. I love those community. Thanks for being apart.
I've never see Larkspur in my area so I don't think they would do well here. They are beautiful flowers. Looking forward to your Spring Blooms. 🌼 🌸 🏵 😊
I grew my first Larkspur in the fall and it came up in the spring. Loved it so much! Thanks Marlene for watching.
New sub here! I love the bed storage container with the trays! That set up is much better than the little plug style seed trays! Easier to deal with. And you get room for more seeds. This is my go to next seas! Pro tip - Use a soldering iron for drilling holes. Using one will help avoid shattering the container.
Great tip. Thanks for sharing and I’m glad you got a little bit of inspiration from this video. Thanks for subscribing as well. Much appreciated!!!!
@@rbthegardennannyllc4219 The pleasure was mine! And thanks for sharing!
More than welcome!
Watching your video has made me so excited I can't wait for weekend to go buy some potting soil 😊😊
Aww that made my day! Thanks for watching and your wonderful comment!
Your hat is cute. Love it! With the flower on the side. 😅
Thanks lady!!
Definitely 👍👍👍. You you customize that mini green house with those cut in half 6 packs. I have had really bad experience with the Kellogg potted mixes here in the low Arizona desert. I used it in really big containers. The top was aleays dry and the bottom very wet and smelled really bad. Nothing grew in it. Had to buy other products to mix it so as not the throw it all out. And yes it has sticks and other things I don't want.
Use what I can 💕. Sounds like not enough drainage with it smelling. I will definitely be checking on that throughout the winter. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Hi Renae. I like your clock. It's Cold here too. I'm in zone 8 and it was 12°F this morning. BRRR! 😅
The clock is exactly what I needed.
You might want to double check on using POTTING soil instead of SEED STARTING MIX ,potting soil might be a little heavy for you tender seeds.🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
Yes, I've checked. If you do research on Winter Sowing you will see that Potting soil is what is recommended. I appreciate you watching.
Great job ❤
I appreciate you watching and your comment. Thank you!
Awesome job. A good variety of seeds. I have tried Kellogg potting mix before. I didn’t like all sticks in it. I shifted it to get as many as I could out. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber from Central Florida, zone 9b
Thanks so much. Good tip on sifting the soil but I think after I get finished with my last bag I will shift over to something else. Glad to have you as a new sub.
Hey RB!
Great cleanup and organization!
I love winter sowing in milk jugs.
I might have to give the storage bin idea a try.
Great content!
Hey Nikki!!! I love a tidy space. ☺️. Thanks for watching.
@@rbthegardennannyllc4219 same here. I have a lot of outdoor cleanup to do too.
It never ends. Sorta like laundry. Glad to have a garden though.
Great video
I appreciate you watching and commenting!
What zone are you? I’m in zone 6a Michigan 🥶 You did a really good job straightening up your storage area…I gotta do mine asap. I’m new to your channel. I have a walk in shed I use for storage. I’m drawing my garden layout /design and sorting seeds. I’m starting seeds inside around March. Thank you for sharing.🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
Thanks so much. I'm in zone 6b MO. I love a tidy space it helps me, as you can see in the video, avoid going out and purchasing more stuff I don't need and using what I have. Thanks for watching.
14:57 I see that you have some vents back there behind your head in the video, do you open those vents to let the heat out and some cool air in?
Hey Bernie yes I closed them up when I put the garden to bed and really didn’t think I would need to open them until spring. Like I said, I’m learning a lot about my greenhouse. I’m seeing I can start a lot of things early in my greenhouse but then too it’s a learning process. Thanks for watching.
Nice video. I just subscribed.
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks also for the sub.
Nice clock
I love it as well. Thanks so much for watching.
Where did you purchase the black compost bin? I want one similar to what you have so I can have a different type
Thanks for watching. I bought mine back in 2017 for $229.99 including tax. Seven years later it's more expensive.
