You win more time with DS by using it to reach a good position, like you die near a pallet > pop DS > reach pallet > connect to loop. There Zaka managed to reach the perfect edgemap spot without it so it would have been just a waste because he wanted to die there on purpose. Furthermore he can safely assume he is gonna get insta tunneled after this hook so he is gonna be able to use it after the unhook in a situation where he gets more value out of it and use it actually efficiency. And lastly the killer will think he doesn't have DS and play around that fake knowledge. It's a nurse so you know you are going to get downed no matter what, it's not like with other killers where you just pop DS and continue looping.

That’s not true, competitive players repeat and sorta yell their callouts so that the seriousness and vibe to the situation stays there. The brain is already doing so much with how much focus it has to put into the game by not trying to make any mistakes for the team by the gamers themselves. Repeated callouts are a normal genuine thing that’s actually necessary for everyone to hear in case they don’t hear it. If in case you say “well I hear everything the first time” well that’s because you’re only watching the video and not actually playing it. Watching someone play vs actually being in their shoes is 2 different things.
The extra 15 sec wouldnt have mattered much in that situation plus he already died in a decent spot. Saving it just in case the nurse will tunnel after second hook is a logical decision here and it would also make the nurse not suspect DS. Considering the first 2 hooks happend fairly fast it wouldve been safe to assume she would also tunnel after the second hook.
Nah he died in a good spot and already used his lithe. 5 gens remaining also so big chance nurse goes for the tunnel out straight after. Was a smart move saving it, even the tourney commentators thought he missed it for some reason, even though he died corner.

dyum what a way to humble nurse xD
Why didn’t they save Ace when he got hooked at end game?
Because 6 stages is already a really good result and risking more isn't really worth it. Especially because this unhook would be really hard
3:12 why did zaka say he wont use ds? wouldnt that have bought more time for the team to do gens?
He already used his Lithe. So using DS would've been a waste as the Nurse can almost always catch up with one blink.
