I’m past the point of “please get this man some mental health help” and to the point of “please stop giving him a public platform and access to public media.” I don’t care what he does behind closed doors anymore (as long as he isn’t hurting anyone) just stop letting him cause this many ripples in the media. It doesn’t matter if 99% of people think he’s a loon, it’s the 1% that scare me. He’s not entertaining, it’s not funny, it’s not a show for us to watch, he needs help but that’s not going to happen if people keep interviewing him and letting him speak his mind, he needs to disappear so we can stop feeding into it. (Okay, rant over😅)
There is the point where his hate insights more than anyone can excuse
It’s insulting to people with actual mental health issues tbh. That and nobody can force help onto someone else, someone can only get help for themselves. Even addicts know this.
I'd disagree. It's kinda killing the right wing and making them look absolutely mental. Their actions will turn off more than it'll attract.
As a german, holocaust denial is insane to me. I was in one of the worker camps before, where people got worked to the bones until they either died or got sent to a concentration camp. You can get there with train from where I live, that's how close it is.
So much of our literature talks about the holocaust or generally bad sides of the nazi-regime. This straight up denial is absolutely bonkers, the history of my country is drenched in the thing whose existence they deny. Absolute insanity fr

Same here, I'm born in South Germany but grew up in Berlin. There are so many places that you can visit where these horrible things happened, and when you are there you can still feel the horror. Every german kid in school learns about what happened in great detail, field trips are made to camps, survivers come to class to be interviewed etc. You literally can't escape the history. It's mind-blowing to me that there are people saying non of this happened, like bro.. get a reality check.
This is a selfish sentiment, but as a bipolar person I HATE that this is some people’s introduction to the disorder. Being bipolar doesn’t make you a bigot. And Ye has all the mental health resources at his fingertips and refuses to use them. It’s inexcusable.

It seems like it’s just a quirky metaphor or a cheap shot to make someone look bad. In Europe it’s v rarely used and even if it is it’s deeply condemned regardless of the political agenda.

It makes me so sad for his children. I just know they have some idea what's going on with him. It would be impossible not to hear about it. As someone who has an awful father, I know those kids have a long journey of healing from this ahead of them.

The most infuriating thing was his going on about "loving everyone". It's just the thinnest bit of plausible deniability that people who want to give him all the excuses in the world can take it and run with it. Idk how much of his behavior is rapid cycling (a condition of bipolar mania where gaps between manic episodes become shorter and shorter) or how much is just him, or both. It's been very concerning how much antisemitism has risen in the last ten years and scary how much it's spiked since Kanye first started his tantrums. I was definitely surprised to see him connecting with rock slime like Milo and Nick tho.

i've seen some creators "bypass" copyright by reading out what was said in the copyrighted video while holding out a piece of paper with the original speaker persons' name 😭 or when they read out stuff from articles they knock to indicate 'it's my input now'. i get why shit gets copyrighted but the whole system is way too confusing

In his mania he is feeling like God. Unfortunately he doesn't have any true friends that aren't yes men to talk him down. He needs a huge wave of reality to crash down on him and take him down off this curve of his BP. Having a few people in my life who suffer with psychosis and mania in relation to their BP I see so many similarities in his behavior (not the Nazi shit) but getting religious and giggly and talking in circles. I remember many months ago asking if you'd one day make a video of what to look out for in order to identify bad faith positions. I think this video alone implies a big chunk of that with all of the examples of not holding consistent philosophical principles between oneself and one's opposition (as seen in what I refer to as sports team politics).

I had to check twitter to see if Kanye’s account is still up and it’s suspended. I can’t remember if I said this in the last video on him, but every time I would see that he got banned from Instagram and/or twitter, he had already been reinstated. I feel like since the owner of Twitter himself, Elon Musk, personally messaged him about all of this, he should just be completely banned. He needs some serious mental help after he claimed Chicago was kidnapped (because he didn’t know where Kylie’s house is), all the harassment, stalking, and threats towards Kim and Pete, and all of this on top of it. I wanna feel bad for him because I know mental illness sucks, but that doesn’t excuse his actions and statements. Most of all, I just feel bad for his kids who have to watch as their father essentially ruins his entire career and reputation. It can’t be easy at a young age, so I can’t even imagine how they’ll process it once they’re old enough to fully understand what happened

Now about the theme at hand. This whole thing is like watching the worst people that i hate very much, fighting one another on who has the worst take. Elon vs Ye, Alex Jones being the voice of reason, ye dissing ben shapiro. What kind of conservative hole did we all fall in, and how do we get out. I just wish this whole thing is over, and that kanye gets pushed out of all media forever, he is already rich, he is not going to die out of hunger.
Now i do think that this is a great moment to talk about how the intolerance towards minorities has its grips on the whole internet. This kind of conservative and conspiratorial behavior has been ramping up for a while, from homophobia, to racism, to misogyny, to antisemitism. The problem is not one crazy person sharing these views, but that tons of crazy people agree, and then real life events happen, like laws being passed, rights being taken, and shootings on bars then happening. i dont know how to stop this pattern and it feels like we are watching reality in third person.

The outrageous-ness of this interview has made the messages within it spread way farther than they should, and I really hope that most people find them as ridiculous and insane as they should.

I haven’t really been following kanye since he was putting confederate flags on his clothing in 2013 (i don’t care about his reason for it, he shouldn’t have done it). Kanye at some point during this interview started talking to an inanimate object which shows me that he’s getting worse mentally. At this point I want people to stop inviting him on their shows but Kanye says what many far right conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones won’t say out loud. Because they usually communicate through dog whistles and conspiracy theories, aligning themselves with someone who is explicitly antisemitic prevents them from using plausible deniability to defend their antisemitism. That’s the same reason why Tucker Carlson cut so much of Kanye’s explicit antisemitism from his edited interview.
I hope Kayne stops getting invited for interviews but unfortunately it gets a lot of views
