I don't run in altra but I always keep some around to keep my legs stretched some..they do make decent yard work shoes..fortunately they are always discounted a lot at the end of the model year..

Having run in Altra going back to 2009, and appreciating the zero drop, I'm still torn over the 4mm drop. I wonder if the new ownership (VF Corp) had something to do with that, to improve market competitiveness. Thanks, Matt, for another comprehensive review.

Hello Mat, because you are a runner i would like to ask a question. I did intense workouts like running for hours and lifting weights. However, for three days i have noticed my heart beating. I have never felt like that before. Do really runners feel heart palpitations? Please let me know if you ever felt like that or if it’s normal for athletes and if you have a way to cure this. Thank you
