+stevebowles1 its a recent alteration to MSA rules/advice or whatever, basically to do with the mount creating a weakness point if there was an impact - along the lines of Michael Schumacher's incident. Thruxton were always quite careful and very picky on what they did allow, disclaimers and secondary tethers etc needed so this new MSA advice was probably a good excuse to ban them all together - like so many other tracks! You are so overly aggressive running people off the track and everything, not proper racing
I don't know what video you watched, he wasn't running anyone off the track. I did see a lot of inexperienced drivers outbraking themselves.
