My husband has been an attorney for over 40 years, he has seen a lot of horrible people like this. He said that first off if you are injured by people doing this stuff they aren’t untouchable, they can be sued however the likelihood of getting anything out of them is slim to none, also police reports need to be filed. He said the best way to combat this is to have a mass amount of complaints sent to the attorney general whether you have encountered them or not. If you know what state they reside in contact that states attorney general and make a complaint about them. Regardless of what they say, they are practicing medical procedures these people and the veneer techs, which is 100% ILLEGAL!

I work in class action, I 100% agree people should be making statements to the attorney general. Enough complaints can spark an investigation that lead to a suit. MoNat is a great example, their hair loss suit came from reports. Another in the suit that made LuLaRoe be banned in WA state (where I OG came from) and not all the complaints came from seller there either but it was enough to spark the investigation.

The fricking government cannot allow this to continue. I am a medical malpractice attorney that works in defending medical practices/hospitals/medical facilities. We have a few clients that are med spa type facilities. Bad outcomes happen. Even with something as easy as chemical peels. If you go to one of these places, there is no insurance company to sue to make you whole. Please, please, please do not fall for this. I just got back from my Botox appointment. Yes, it is expensive, but it is also not necessary. Do not put your health and wellness at risk for this.

I’m a registered nurse in Texas, so I can’t speak for every state, but a general rule of thumb is that actual medical providers will NEVER offer training to the general public for medical procedures. There are cases where we EDUCATE patients/caregivers on wound care, how to manage lines/drains, medications, and stuff like that. It will never be “if you pay me, I’ll teach you how to do invasive procedures.” We would lose our license (that we worked years for) really quick. But if sally, who works at Burger King, offers a “course” what’s she got to lose? Not much. And if you sue her, that’s what you’ll get. So please don’t fall for this quick cash or cheap injection bs

My sister is a nurse practitioner and has been doing fillers and botox for well over a decade, there are certain areas of the face that she won't inject, due to complications.
Under eyes and the nose being that it's extremely dangerous.
Even though she's been a nurse for 15 years, she won't take the risk.
She also won't over fill people's lips/face as it looks ridiculous.
But a barber shop opened up next to her office and he was doing it for cheaper, using unregulated stuff (as she gets them ordered with a prescription, which has the clients name on)
Some people would get angry with my sister as they wanted more filler, but she wouldn't do it and at the price because "he's cheaper next door "
She lost a few clients, but she didn't mind as she didn't want them walking around with people thinking she'd ruined their faces.
And gosh, they all look the same (and not in a good or "natural" way )
But the pride she takes in her work is worth more than money.
The worst thing is, if the person doesn't like what the barber does, she can't even dissolve it for them, because she doesn't know what's in it.
Take care of your health guys, its not worth it ❤
Congrats on the 100k Isabella, well deserved ❤

*I just wanted to add, i completely agree that this is the new MLM movement, so many people getting Amazon certificates selling the same BS course to others.
Its getting worse the more I see.
      "Certified " lip techs
      "Certified" veneer techs
      "Certified" fat loss injectors
      WTF??
I'm 35 and still haven't had anything done. A good skincare (which i only got into a year ago) has done wonders for fine lines.
AHA/BHA, peptides, and sunscreen is all i used and I noticed a huge difference.
What the heck are fat dissolving injections, surely that product is illegal.
The government need to clamp down on this madness and start prosecuting, this isn't going to end well. Its actually scary!

10:07 regarding these "full body fat dissolvers", I watched a Dr. Mike (youtube doc) podcast with a guest who got these done at an unlicensed Med Spa, she ended up contracting a very rare mycobacterium due to contaminated product. It rotted literal holes in her body everywhere that she got an injection and spent the next two years inpatient hospital and is still dealing with trying to totally clear the infection. Her life is forever severely altered and she is lucky to be alive because of these so-called fat dissolving injections. And in America, speaking thru the lens of a insurance SME, most insurance plans will not cover complications related to cosmetic procedures that weren't covered by the health plan originally (i.e. fat dissolving injections), so even if you survive, you could be hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. Y'all puleasee don't fuck with it ❤❤❤

UK registered adult nurse here. I did a day course for lip fillers and botox provided by an excellent Doctor led company who only allow people with medical backgrounds/qualifications to train. Although I’d been qualifed and practicing for 5 years one day of in person training on models was NOT enough time for me personally to feel fully competent taking full medical histories, injecting clients and managing follow ups & complications, considering I was working in Intensive Care at the time and was very experienced with dealing with complex conditions. All injectors should carry Hyaluronidase which is an enzyme that dissolves the hyaluronic acid fillers. These are supposed to be used IN AN EMERGENCY incase of an occlusion in a vein or artery which if left untreated could lead to necrosis (death) of the tissue. The whole industry is not properly regulated, however in the UK only registered Doctors can now prescribe Botox and there must be a face to face consultation.

Previously licensed Master Esthetician (let it expire during the pandemic) and recently graduated with my BSN- being an esthetician absolutely does not allow you to inject anything. In most states, we're not even able to use lancets to aid extraction.
This is absolutely wild (in the bad way) to me. Most states require a minimum of an RN to be able to inject and some states require a higher licensure. Even RNs who inject have to be in a practice under a MD, they can't be injecting solo. I really hope the people getting injected are staying safe and aren't facing horrible side effects, but realistically that's unlikely.
I have no idea if these injectors can be hit with malpractice, but if they can be they're fucked since they're not being covered by malpractice insurance.
Edit to add: PMU stands for permanent makeup artist, which is something that needs licensure.

Im in medical school and going to graduate in the next few months. I've spent the last four years learning how much I dont know and being completely overwhelmed by the depth and complexity of medicine. Even when I've completed residency which will be an additional 3-7 years of training after 4 years of medical school, I wouldn't feel comfortable with doing any kind of aesthetics unless I was specifically trained in a reputable residency program, even though I have a better understanding of anatomy and physiology than most people. Now I have next to no interest in aesthetics, and have no intention of making it part of my practice, but I can understand the complexity and finicky nature of it.

I normally don’t comment but…here’s my two cents. One I’ve been in the medical field for a while first a was an MA (medical assistant) now an EMT and I had to go through extensive training JUST to perform basic medical practices under constant super vision. It took my about 9 months to become an MA and I had to complete 112 hours of clinicals. To be an emt I had to do 72 hours or ambulance training and 24 hours of ER training. It makes me so sick that people are harming others for a quick buck. In the medical field we have to be so careful if we get accidentally pricked by a needle. We have to report it go through months of testing to make sure that nothing happened. I really hope that these people that are injecting others and teaching other realize how dangerous it it. Not only that it took my close friend two years to become a hair stylist and while bleach and other things can be dangerous it’s not nearly as severe as needles in sensitive areas…just saying

I’m currently a Medical Assistant in Arizona, and if their a certified medical assistant they will be in the Arizona database. But in the state of Arizona, you don’t have to be a certified MA to work in a doctors office, medical facility etc. However, we are NOT allowed to give any injections without the supervision of a provider. With my license, I am able to draw blood, give injections (immunizations) and lidocaine to numb patients under the supervision and license of my provider I work with. If I mess up, then my license and my providers license become affected. I’m so shocked that there was a class for this in Phoenix. I know it’s been going around the USA a lot more, but when it’s happening in your backyard and ppl are throwing credentials is ridiculous! We are not nurses, we actually have to get signed off my nurses at some facilities before we can give injections or do procedures. The fact that these girls are not working under a provider is highly illegal!

This is crazzzyyyy. I only get injectables from very experienced DOCTORS. I know that lots of registered nurses are great as well- but I just personally like somebody who also has a surgical background.
It also just looks so much better because you don’t tell them you want “check filler” or whatever. You say “these are my concerns, this is what if thought about doing” and then they do a blend of treatments and often stop during the process to readjust the plan as necessary.
There is very little benefit of going to anyone who only has 1 type of “training” in 1 or 2 products/ treatments EVEN IF it’s legal. They won’t actually do what’s best for you and your face (aesthetically and health wise) because they DON’T KNOW HOW.

The micro needling did not work in my case and it even made my keloids worse (not to the fault of my doctor; my skin just didn’t take it well). I couldn’t even imagine the complications that could arise from an unlicensed person doing micro needling.

Okay i went to school and got licesned and all for esthetics here in AZ and unless you're a doctor/dermatologist you are not allowed to do anything that will penetrate deeper than your epidermis layer of the skin. Microneedling that doesnt go too deep into your skin, it is basically a treatment to help with the appearance of acne scars and general texture stuff but normally takes multiple sessions for results and nimbing cream is used during the treatment. Super cool stuff and i hope to make enough to have that kind of treatment done someday. HOWEVER estheticians can only go to a certain depth. So if someone is holding a class on it for estheticians to do, they better specify that bc any deeper than 0.5mm and they dont have proper licensing, they juat vioated the board regularions. Same for chemical peels, up to a certain depth. Injections of any kind is a big no-no. Never heard of this pen thing and havent looked into it so idk how new it is but i will say, a lot of ppl i went to school with def had that "boss babe" mentality and wanted to try so many new things that the instructors would shut down bc stuff like that isnt safe enough or legal to teach in school and i would normally take that as a sign to not do it, but not everyone has that common sense unfortunately.

I could never call that safe unless you’re 1) aware of risk benefits to procedures 2) experienced at injecting which is a completely separate certification from medical assistant,CNA, LPN, RN, NP, PA, DO, MD, pharmaceutical and other medical spa professionals. Depending on the level of injections you would like to do… you could take anywhere from a couple months to several years to be fully certified in injections plus you have to pay a fee to keep it active as well as re enroll in injection certification.

    • @Error404Pod
      @Error404Pod 7 месяцев назад

Not only that the education requirements to even enroll in injection certification varies state by state but due to the shortage of injectors in my state the main thing they require is atleast 2 years of medical school programs ( meaning most CNAs are not certified to inject) atleast 1 year of in clinic training/supervised injections, additional training both online and in person and atleast 100 successful supervised injections prior to enrollment. Unless you are a pharmacy technician there are not many exceptions in regards to whose employers will compensate you for attending injection certification programs.

    • @amandakushner8665
      @amandakushner8665 4 месяца назад

@@gfzilla6755 it depends on your state of how many hours is recommended to do bullet injections or just regular injection in the face and then you have to go take a test and get certified and then you have to renew every year license if you don’t it’s a huge fine or they suspend your license. And probably take a college course or something

I remember years ago (around 2016-2018) I saw a few videos of women using this pen for the first time to make their lips fuller. I always thought it it didn’t work due to a burst of air injecting the filler into the lip. With my little science knowledge, I knew that the pressure would have to be a lot to inject the medication. Then I found out that their is a tiny needle on the inside. There was another lady who who recorded her trip to the medical office that she goes to get fillers with the pen. The nurse (I don’t remember her exact title) showed the process of inserting the pen and explaining why she selected Juvaderm to inject. She was super clean and knowledgeable. I can do my best to find the video and send it to you.
