@@millo7295 well you could just follow randoms in the cyberpunk universe. Then maybe they cross paths maybe they don't. I think it could open it up for more content or really push the narrative that night city will eat you alive
@@millo7295 Oh you really can. Look at the comics on the Cyberpunk 2077 world. There are several different ones that could be standalone episodes for a "Night City's Tales of the Street" series with a different story and why not only different characters each episodes. 1 episode following a NCPD rookie first day 8 episode adapting all the comics 1 episode on what happened during V assaulting the Arasaka tower from the point of view of an Arasaka guard 1 episode on the 2022 Arasaka Tower assault ending with the nuke detonation from the point of view of Rogue having flashbacks while she's assaulting the 2077's version of the tower with V. 1 episode on Jackie's early life and how he stopped to be a Valentino. 1 episode on Takemura doing a covert ops for his master. 1 episode of netrunner following tracks on the second best netrunner of the world, Spider Murphy and what they will find about her. There are so many stories you can tell. As a Cyberpunk 2020 Referee since 90's, you have only your imagination as a limit. So to produce 8 to 12 episodes? Crazy to think I’ve been watching you for like 5 years now. So glad Cyberpunk turned it around and the franchise is so healthy. Looking forward to doing it all over again on the road to Orion 💪
Utilizing a Love, Death and Robots style anthology series would definitely work for stories set in the world of Cyberpunk. They could explore some of the stories that are hinted at in some of the Shards that we only see the aftermath of like the two Arasaka ninja's.
@@TheNeonArcade I suck with these kinds of things, I can immerse myself a lot better in a male character, is my weakness as a roleplayer, even though i do have 1 female character :P
Ciri should be the MC. It's what works in tandem with the book series. Going a different route would essentially be spinning off from the original story that was laid out in the book series. I think that would be fine after they are done telling the actual story to completion but before then I think it would only throw a wrench in things and be disappointing for a lot of people who are hoping to see the story from the books as we have thus far with minor deviations.
Yes bro good to see you back, I remember watching your videos in the months running up to cyberpunk 2077, I know it’ll probably be a good while until we start getting some solid details about Orion but I’m looking forward to seeing all your content about it!
im up for the epic new Cyberpunk game and Witcher 4 with full mod support... yes a character creator will suffice enough for the story to continue it did well with V from Cyberpunk2077 even though people knew v was canonically male... and the look we know for sure but people didn't care so it still helps the story continue..
So many topics covered I'm gonna have rewatch before I can add my 2cents. Though I really would like CDPR to release cyberpunk clothing line like how was with Acronym for Deus Ex MD.
I was under the impression that the whole Johnny Silverhand winning the fan voting bracket was for them to decide what the next anime was going to be. If so, then we got some kind of JS type of thing coming. Which would be a great contrast to the BS version we see in game.
My guy, if they did what they did for the Phantom Liberty game, they might as well make it live-action because it's mocap, and realistically, it would be cheaper to do so.
You know, I may be in the minority here, but part of the charm of Night City, came from the artistic representation of America from EU's perspective. It's what made Night City so unique and interesting. I'm originally from Los Angeles circa 1980s to 2010 and I gotta say, I am a smidge intimidated of the possibility the next Cyberpunk game will resemble it too much and remove the magic and artistic flare of current Night City design. Here's hoping it's influence is only relegated to manhole covers and hydrants. lol Everything else could remain in EU's wonderful perspective, imho. Anyways, either way, this is all generally fantastic news updates! Thanks for reporting on it choom!
Hey choom also wanted to follow up on what an anthology is because I believe you have it wrong!! Love, death, and robots is 100% an anthology with a new episode carrying new characters and scenes so you’re right to point that out. HOWEVER, anthologies like American horror story also exist which changes the characters and narratives every season, instead of every episode which could reduce the risk of “episodes” getting overlooked but still keeping things fresh :) idk if that is something you would want instead of your idea but wanted to point it out because when I say anthology I mean that way which would be perfect for Night city!!
I'll be quite interested in any new stories in the Cyberpunk universe, but I'm not an anime fan, so I hope the style/format is something different. Any news about Orion is very welcome...I'm still guessing it's release is 5 years away, but I'd welcome it sooner of course...as long as the game is as deep and richly detailed and developed as 2077. But I'm sure the game devs are overflowing with ideas for it. Interesting that they think Orion should be more 'American'...I had no problem with the cultural and stylistic mix of 2077, and I don't think the look of trash bins and manhole covers is very important. It also seems to me that the homeless appearance of Night City hardly needs expansion...believe me, we get it already... Fun to see the new merch available...I think I need one of those doggie heads for my car, even though it's just a boring SUV, rather than an armed and armoured gun-and-rocket platform.
I'd love an anthology showing other aspiring runners or the world outside of night city. That and I'd personally really like a series showing the different niche cyberware cultures, get the clowns, the inhuman/animal style modders and those who go full borg.
I don’t understand people who want Edgerunners to continue😂 their story was told, let them rest in pieces. The whole cyberpunk setting is ripe for new untold stories, the main character isn’t even the people, the main character is Night City. They could also do stories outside of NC.
I'm totally down for a Sin City-style Cyberpunk 2077 anthology series and if we get another anime, I'd love to get one centering on Takemura Goro since we never got to see him go all out in the game
Edge-runners were amazing, but I can't watch another sad ending tho. I barely came back after that. I'm not saying people shouldn't watch it tho. But if it affects u as it did to me, then reconsider ur choices.
Hey choom it’s confirmed that it’s an anime because not only did it get posted on Netflix, but on “Netflix Anime”. Netflix only posts stuff about its anime on Netflix anime for RUclips
So hyped for the new animation coming for cyberpunk ❤. As for witcher 4 I don't get why you don't want ciri as a protagonist it would be perfect we only saw her in the witcher 3 and depending on the ending it makes sense that she would be carrying on the Franchise with three new games as the lead I'm really hopeful that she will be the protagonist but great video overall keep up the amazing content neon❤️
I have been watching your videos when you had less than 3k subs, even then I was surprised how low subs you had but now its clear, youare the best when it comes to cyberpunk content, keep going man, cheers.

welcome back! you were my first go-to for all news post and pre release of Cb2077 lol hope you will stick around for the orion & polaris' pre & post launches!
Looks like CP77 will only be getting patches and performance improvements, if anything at all, from here on out. But if I could have just one more thing, one more bit of actual content, I want a new game mode akin to Red Dead's Undead Nightmare... Imagine this: You reload an endgame save to tinker around the city. A new quest pops which directs you to go home and check your email. There's a partially scrambled message, threatening in tone, like the ones you may have read on the computers in Cynosure. It fucks with V's head and the next stage in the quest is a prompt to sleep off your headache. When you awake, the light peeking through the armored shutters is fiery, and there are muffled screams coming from outside V's apartment. Stepping out into the mayhem, you see that every connected interface is corrupted with Blackwall static and all NPCs are in panic mode. The reason for this is clear: cyberpsychos everywhere you turn. Game design-wise, this means any rando who would throw hands with V if aggro'd is in a permanent state of max aggression. Naturally, the same goes for cops and gangs. All cameras are on the lookout for you. Hacking anything alerts nearby mobs. In fact, you're also perma 5-stars and are being actively hunted by MaxTac anytime you're on the street. From this point on, V's primary objective is to check in with all your fixers, but comms are down so you have to survive traversing city streets awash in destruction. There are no other quests and (almost) every structure is locked down. If you manage to check all the boxes without dying (which just forces you to wake up into the regular post-game), your final course is set: save the city by initiating a total blackout. This could be presented much like the "secret ending," meaning V conducts a one-person raid of Night Corp HQ and must descend into the bowels of Hell, clearing floor after floor of rogue AI-infected mechanized monstrosities, taunting you every step of the way. As for your reward upon finishing the quest, I'm thinking a copy of the Cerberus's Behavior System Component, so you can make Erebus/Canto even if you sided with Songbird during Phantom Liberty - and, of course, a little tease for Project Orion.
very good summary. idk if youve seen lastknownmeals's channel. he pretty much does the same thing as you, giving news about cdpr, but he wastes so much time endlessly talking about like a tweet or something. there is always like one piece of new information that he stretches out for at least 5 minutes. your vid actually had substance to it and it didnt feel like you were trying to stretch it out just to hit that 10 minute mark. sub earned
My only concern for Orion is with the move to Boston. I fear the game will lose some of it’s unique cdpr(European?) touch. Sure it doesn’t always reflect the setting but I feel like that is what makes the game so unique at least to me. It doesn't really have to appeal to modern American issues to make the game good. Love the updates videos❤️
@@0Stark24 I agree, one of my main concerns. The eastern european perspective should be maintained though, they will work with the studio in Poland for Orion as well
I really like what Mike Pondsmith envisioned and described “American issues” in his lore books on red. It’s hard for me to have faith in the Boston team to not pander and change the scope of cyberpunk to get more money (ie DEI and other Marxist propaganda)
As long as it never loses its grip on what it means to be cyberpunk, I'm fine. All too often someone slips in who says, "Hey, it's got robot limbs and hacking. What more do you want from cyberpunk??" 🙄
Wait, they didn’t think they represented homelessness enough? Tent cities are everywhere. Fully half the npcs in certain areas i took to be homeless. I get we in the USA have a massive problem with no end in sight, i feel that was amply represented.
I didn't know that there is going to be another Cyberpunk anime show. That would be awesome if it is going to be a s good as Edgerunners. I also didn't know there is going to a Cyberpunk live action show! I've been so wanting for CD Projekt Red to get a live action version of Cyberpunk going! It will be incredible to see Night City and whatever characters the showrunners chose put in there in live action! I'm really looking forward to watching that show on Netflix.
FSR works with nvidea gpus, not just amd ones, and in fact it works on lower generation cards as well DLSS frame generation is locked behind 40 series cards but FSR frame generation can be used on anything down to 20 series just want people to know that cuz I with a 2080 super am able to get 200 fps with FSR on ultra no raytracing
I hope the patch includes Bug Fixes. The Rayfield Crystaldome doesn't work properly and some in game TV shows has no audio and the Nicola ad Freezes towards the end.
There are rumors (kinda) about Project Orion (aka cyberpunk 2077 sequel) that the infamous Sweet Baby Inc. is part of the project. Is there confirmed news about it?
I’ve heard them talking in a video about DEI but so far haven’t heard anything about companies like Baby Inc being involved….yet. I really enjoy the cyberpunk 2077 universe but if it gets infested I’m pulling out and just enjoy what’s already been made. Plus mods 😏
It's really smart to use a broad range of non-game content to keep people interested while Orion gets developed... not that I wouldn't stay interested. Best. Game. Ever.
How exactly does a pre-chosen character improve the story? Aesthetics shouldn't be integral to the story, unless there's a few key choices to pick from that affect a character's background, and thus possibly abilities. While that could be interesting in itself, I can't see how hair colour, freckles/no freckles, skin colour, etc really affect gameplay or story...
Major detail you missed regarding FSR in 2.13: CDPR added 3.0 instead of 3.1. 3.1 is WAY better than 3.0. So folks are lookin' at CDPR sideways for always implementing Nvidia stuff rapidly and very well while their AMD implementations are late and poorly done.
Dont forget, the AMD FRS doesnt require an AMD card. FRS benefits a wide variety of people. Unless you have a pretty dang good nvidia card, FRS is useful.
I'm not excited for the notion of having an office in Boston, making the cyberpunk world more accurate..... accurate to 2024, but 2024 isn't where the games are set. A realistic 2024 manhole cover isn't going to blow any minds in NC.
if they underestimated homelessness they should see how many people are in prison here because its good for wall street. Biotechnica would just be prison slaves in 2077 if based in reality.
Big thanks to CDPR and Mike pondsmith to crafting such an imersive and brutal yet beautiful world. The world brings you in and the story brings you back. I would place 2077 along side the greats like new Vegas.
I love Night City, but it would be nice to see what's going on elsewhere in the setting, like in Texas since they're apparently a seceded country similar to Night City, just bigger and likely more varied in culture and environments. Maybe focused on Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio or Galveston. Wichita Falls, Burkburnett or El Paso could also be neat for a Nomad focused story.
Keep the animation but update it, it’s what made edge runners so good. I couldn’t picture watching a cyberpunk series not animated by trigger in that style it just wouldn’t feel the same.
I honestly don't want the next witcher game to have a character creation. I need a good protagonist or more like multiple protagonist. Chracter creation would feel weird for Witcher. Atleast if they want to build the future game on "" The legacy of Wild Hunt".
I still say Orion will be released on December 10, 2030, on the 10-year anniversary of the original Cyberpunk 2077's release. They're moving from "research" to "development" right now (which probably will take until sometime in 2025), and it takes "4 to 5 years" to complete a game once it starts development. So 2030 wouldn't be entirely out of line. *ESPECIALLY* since they're going to be *very* careful not to release a buggy p.o.s. on the first go. They're going to take their time with this one. Just my $0.02, of course...
i honestly dont know what Im more hyped for. Cyberpunk Orion or your pre-release news coverage of it like back in 2018-2020. god damn its been 4 years already :(
I hope in the next game we get exotics or least more customizable body parts kinda felt limited for a game set in a setting where body expression and modification is only limited by a individuals imagination I’d also like pure metal cybernetics and not just flesh covered parts
Excited about the new show chooms?

@@0Stark24 I agree, one of my main concerns. The eastern european perspective should be maintained though, they will work with the studio in Poland for Orion as well
I really like what Mike Pondsmith envisioned and described “American issues” in his lore books on red. It’s hard for me to have faith in the Boston team to not pander and change the scope of cyberpunk to get more money (ie DEI and other Marxist propaganda)
I’ll keep a skeptical eye and stay hopeful though
As long as it never loses its grip on what it means to be cyberpunk, I'm fine. All too often someone slips in who says, "Hey, it's got robot limbs and hacking. What more do you want from cyberpunk??" 🙄
@@VictimofNightCity So you want only yt european centric characters living in night City?
FSR works with nvidea gpus, not just amd ones, and in fact it works on lower generation cards as well
DLSS frame generation is locked behind 40 series cards but FSR frame generation can be used on anything down to 20 series
just want people to know that cuz I with a 2080 super am able to get 200 fps with FSR on ultra no raytracing
Very cool, didn’t know that 👍🏽
Great video!! Keep up the high quality work!!!
I hope the patch includes Bug Fixes. The Rayfield Crystaldome doesn't work properly and some in game TV shows has no audio and the Nicola ad Freezes towards the end.
Bro has never sounded the same since the game dropped 😂
cp2077 was master piece doesnt matter how started in the end they made game which gamers loved after PL dlc
I would definitely love to see you unbox sa edgerunners mission kit!
Time is a flat circle.
the whole distorted netflix logo looks like blackwall stuff, would be awesome if it revolves around that! So mysterious and spooky!
Good catch!
I'm hoping for a create a character in the new Witcher. That would greatly increase the chances of me buying it at launch.
not at the risk of damaging the fantastic stories CDPR usually craft - those require a set character.
Good at CDPR for moving to the US to be as authentic as possible!
Plus mods 😏
It'd be awesome to have a story about Morgan Blackhand for the anime and the next Cyberpunk game
For the next Witcher game, I would be 100% on board for either Lambert or Eskel as the protagonist.
YES the anime is about MILFGUARD story and their rise lol
Would love to see Orion take place on the east coast of the US somewhere
It’d be sick seeing a true detective style live action tv show
I would love to see more about adam smasher. Like a backstory making it a tragic life story.
Nova! I’m hyped chooms!
Dont forget, the AMD FRS doesnt require an AMD card. FRS benefits a wide variety of people. Unless you have a pretty dang good nvidia card, FRS is useful.
Sapkowski says his new book will also not focus on Gerald. So maybe the new book and the new game will have a common theme?
I'm not excited for the notion of having an office in Boston, making the cyberpunk world more accurate..... accurate to 2024, but 2024 isn't where the games are set. A realistic 2024 manhole cover isn't going to blow any minds in NC.
witcher is DEFINITELY gonna be a Ciri story
I have a few years to save for a new custom PC that will run the next CDPR games flawlessly
if they underestimated homelessness they should see how many people are in prison here because its good for wall street. Biotechnica would just be prison slaves in 2077 if based in reality.
190 seconds and 10 likes already. This guy can't fall off if he wanted to
: )
My poor handsome goat David...
The Night City Legend is back!
Much appreciated choom ❤️
4-5 years?! 😭😭 I don’t wanna be 33/34 by the time it comes out. 💀
Big thanks to CDPR and Mike pondsmith to crafting such an imersive and brutal yet beautiful world. The world brings you in and the story brings you back. I would place 2077 along side the greats like new Vegas.
I would love to see CDPR tackle the Warhammer or Shaddowrun universes.
I loved edgerunners, reminded me how much i like cyberpunk, ghost in the shell, psycho pass and cyber city are peak anime cyberpunk
I honestly don't want the next witcher game to have a character creation. I need a good protagonist or more like multiple protagonist. Chracter creation would feel weird for Witcher. Atleast if they want to build the future game on "" The legacy of Wild Hunt".
Please be create a character with a older wiser Ciri as your mentor and leader of the new Lynx school.
As long as you can chose between a male and female character I have no issues that there is no character creator
Making it like love death and robots would be interesting!
Cyberpunk Orion or your pre-release news coverage of it like back in 2018-2020. god damn its been 4 years already :(
The hype train continues!
im so excited for the new season of cp!!!!
Cyberpunk is going DEI tho. I just hope it's not gonna be something major so as not to affect the games that much lol
I hope in the next game we get exotics or least more customizable body parts kinda felt limited for a game set in a setting where body expression and modification is only limited by a individuals imagination I’d also like pure metal cybernetics and not just flesh covered parts
LETSSS GO CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOm!!!!!! 😻
i am huffing liters of copium that it'll be edgerunners season 2 lmao
They're not "pumping out" patches for cyberpunk. Let's be clear.
