And I’ve been waiting for the computer game for about 15 years so I’ve got no problems waiting another few weeks for a quality game that suitably captures that depth. And yeah I’ve still got all the books and bits and pieces I’ve obtained over the years. I’ve had probably 10 long term campaigns with dozens of players and possibly hundreds of edge runners.

      @Gekkibi Год назад +19

      @@d.dawg1 What comes to the RP-aspect of your question: it was what the GM made it to be. A good cyberpunk GM understood that the players shouldn't be allowed to rely too much on permanency; everything bought can get stolen, everything earned can be stripped away, everything promised can turn into a betrayal. GM shouldn't serve milk and biscuits during the sessions either. What comes to game mechanics: neither 1.0 or 2.0 (3.0 never existed, so don't know about that) had character levels, so there wasn't that much min-maxing, unlike in D&D. You can't get more hit points by leveling up. At least by 2.0 rules, if a weapon does 4+ points of damage (even the tiniest pistol can do that) to head it will make you roll a new character. Every non-targeted hit has a 10% chance to hit the head, and a proper GM knows that no rule says that NPCs can't use targeted aming... Combat is dangerous and usually deadly for all involved. Unlike in D&D, mostly.

    I will never understand why this game's bugs overshadow how great of a single player RPG it is. This game was fucking amazing and it's storylines were fantastic. All of the Fallout games and Skyrim were also littered in bugs but they received zero hate, this game had so much more soul and now squandered potential because it got crucified by a player base who didn't even appreciate or understand what it brought to the dying single player rpg genre. I really hope CD doesn't toss this game to the wayside and continues their commitment to it because it is an amazing game.

    The lore sounds interesting and very detailed definitely has me intrigued to play the game . Looking forward to how the lore will be handled in the game

    This definitely has to be one of the most thorough lore and history video about a tabletop/video game I have ever seen. This is some great work and I will be watching Part 2 and any other parts as well. Please keep up the amazing research and work because I'm really enjoying it. 👍😌

    Trauma Team needs its own full-season anime. The protagonist owning a cyber-pet allows that portion of the lore to be casually exposed as well.

      I come to find out Trauma-Team has its own comic/graphic novel out😍 We still need an anime. And now there's already directional source material😁

    Awesome content sir. I was reading the world of Cyberpunk 2077 book and I’m glad you added some more info on your channel. What a coincidence from what’s going on in today’s society from the cyberpunk world. What we are about to play is going to be some what similar of today’s 2020 dark current events from the pandemic and so on.
