    5k a month in payroll taxes!?! At 7.65% that would mean your labor bill is about 65k a month. With that being 33% of your gross revenue you’d be top lining at 195k monthly. Killing it.

    Great video. A lot of good information, everyone running a business battles time vs money and the thought of hiring people or not is always running through the mind. Also that AI thing is awesome!!!!!

    I’d be a little cautious with the ai. If I were a customer calling for service I would have hung up before answering all the questions

    I made 130k after taxes last year. Me and one employee. I'm perfectly content. My dad ran the same setup and has tons of rental properties and investments. Ive been in business for 14 years and my dad is ready to retire and give me his business too. Seems like it will be overwhelming.

    60+ a week for a solo? Micro lots all on the same street?

    • @jamiepippin3892
      @jamiepippin3892 3 месяца назад

      That should be done in two or three days if they are mini lots on the same streets. If you’re driving around between cities and cutting some big ones mixed with small ones, it might take five or six days to cut 60.

      I do 85 a week (Monday-Thursday) solo. Average lot is about 8k sq ft. Great route density is how you get that done.

      @@claytonblunt nothing wrong with that. But if your going to have the channel and you have a lot of subs put the content out. If your not into it anymore then what's the purpose of the channel?

    Turned 48 about a month ago. My body told me I was done. I told my helpers this could be my last season.
    Ended up subcontracting out about 40% of my work. Now, I'm over here making money while I'm sitting here on RUclips.
    Big paycut, but I can't do it anymore.

    Yes everything is expensive. But on the flip side, my business is 5 years old. We provide lawn care for about 100 properties. A few are very decent sized. I run (3) full time during the mowing season, and (1) I pay year round. If it wasn't worth it, i wouldn't do it. If properties are priced correctly...this business can be very profitable. Keep revenue high, expenses low, and profit high. You don't need $80,000 mow trucks. We use $10,000 vehicles for our mowing rigs and have a few mower payments. Everything else is paid with cash. We talk about expenses, but you don't say that a company of your size should be making $30,000-$40,000/month. If not, there is something wrong
