The Cargo PEKEV® Trousers in black use a heavyweight cotton canvas and are lined with abrasion resistant PEKEV® fabric from waistband to bottom leg seam. This gives you full length protection from cuts, scuffs and skidding, as well as resistance to chemicals, detergents, UV rays and pretty much anything else a harsh environment can offer. This revolutionary fabric, which at 270gsm is stronger than the best known aramid fibre at over twice this density, is backed up by ultra-thin, CE approved D3O® Ghost armour at the knees and hips. This secures these trousers a CE Level AAA certification - no small feat for such a stylish piece of gear.
You can also rely on these cargo pants to stay comfortable all day long. The high quality cotton has built-in stretch for flexibility and the PEKEV® lining has great heat dispersion properties, keeping you cool and regulating body temperature for longer. They come in khaki tan and charcoal grey now, although I don't yet see those colors on UR.
I have a pair of the original Resurgence Cargo pants. They are the hottest and heaviest 'summer' motorcycle pants I've ever had on.

Zip fly or button fly ? and side pockets button or velcro? apart from that fantastic looking chino cargo .
I got a pair of these about 3 years ago. I did baulk at the price but they've been well worth it. Fit well, very comfortable, possibly a bit too warm at the height of summer if you're not going that fast, and sitting about at the cafe. Warm in winter although may want to consider thermals for the very coldest of days. Excellent product.
Thanks for your comment. Only way to know the temperature comfort range is with user experience imho.
Never a mention of trouser rise on any motorcycle trousers review, this would be very helpful imo. Are these high or low rise? they look to be a high rise trouser.

How well do they breathe? What temperature range do you think they'd be comfortable in?
They are quite substantial - probably get too hot in the city at the height of summer, but would be great for the rest of the year

I'd miss the easy-access knees, but AAA isn't anything to sneeze at.

AA is 2 seconds at 70 kmh to stop.. on the Darmstadt machine.. which uses a poured concrete surface. AAA is 4 seconds 120 kmh to stop. Not even CE1 rating.

Resurgence are Canadian, aren't they? These look great. I just hope they are a LOT lighter than my old Resurgence Cargo pants which are just about the worst purchase I've made; they are so hot and heavy. The Pekev lining weighs a ton. Are these lighter than the old ones, Andrew?
I'm located in Calgary and no dealer here carries Resurgence, I found a few stores online from Ontario but none of them seem to have the new collection so I don't know what the deal is. Almost tempted to just order from the UK as dumb as it is. lol
@@barkindustry8150 That would be very expensive after import duty. Only the single liner ones are wearable in hot weather. The two-liner ones weigh a TON. Avoid.
