I put a picture of the original and the new one installed.*
You can find check valves design with 3 bores, the unloader system of these check valves use the small bore 1/8" , you can connect it to a solenoid or directly to the automatic pressure switch if the switch has the unloader port

Why not unload the whole inlet pressure? Thus making the compressor start easier without pressurized air in the air line?
