Just watched Jeopardy and one of the questions was about Usain Bolt regarding his great accomplishments in International Athletics and of course the contestant answered correctly but I cannot recall ever hearing a similar question that would require an answer to include Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. She was (is) such a phenomenal Athlete but I guess Gender trumps everything else and because Bolt was charged with re-establishing the Integrity of his Sports and he delivered in every aspect and beyond, Ms. Fraser-Pryce's performances were or have been overshadowed by Bolt's. She's also a smart woman. Kudos to her.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has been the top or the top two 100m sprinters for over a decade, that is true. But since 2016, the year Elaine Thompson-Hera broke out, the best way to describe the situation would be that Shelly-Ann and Elaine has been CO-dominating the 100m scene for the last six years. They have been breathing down each other's neck since 2016. The fact is since 2016, these two have participated in 12 100m races so far, and Elaine dominates head to head 9 to 3. Including the two consecutive Olympic golds in Rio and Tokyo. Shelly has the 2019 Doha World Championship of course. But objectively speaking, they both have been the two dominant forces. And it would be fair to give an edge to Elaine with two Olympic golds and 9-3 head to head. But given that Shelly is 5 years older and just ran 10.60 at 34 years of age in August 2021 to beat the 29 year old peak Elaine the 3rd time in their 12 matchups is also stupendous.
