- This is a recreation of the new Minecraft 1.21 disc by Lena Raine "Creator". I changed the key and the layout of the piece and also a very minimal amount of the melody to give it more of a dramatic feel.
Sorry I can't let people use it in videos as it's hard to keep track of them, and I don't technically have the power to allow who gets to use it as it is a remake of a different song.

if I made a modpack for 1.21 I would add MusicTriggers mod and put this theme when a trial spawner spawns a mob with the parameters of trial chambers, and it should play while the mobs are alive, and if they die, it stops.
the fights are wayyyy too boring for something as good as this

I unironically see creator as Minecraft’s leitmotif, not only is it’s name tangentially linked with what Minecraft is but it’s also just really good. You get what I mean if you’ve heard creator
Minecraft already has a leitmotif. It's in the song called Minecraft and appears in several of the main menu themes, Wait, and some other songs.

One thing ive noticed for this track is that its in 4/4 or 12/8 compared to Creator's 3/4 or 6/8! And I honestly like it

No it isn't. It's in 6/8. You are probably counting too slow and confusing the 4 bar long phrases for the actual time signature. Try counting at a similar speed to that continuous background line and you'll be in 6/8. (The original Creator is in specifically 3/4 btw, you can tell which by where the beat falls)

This is beautiful! Both your remake of the track and the original piece are absolutely amazing. Creator has been my favorite mc track since c418 stopped making the music, and this is the first remake of any mc track i have seen and it's already my favorite!

I feel like this song is shouting at me saying: "I'm trying too hard to be more dramatic". Imo you can learn a lot from this. I've got plenty of spare time so I'm gonna give some of my thoughts and advice hoping I can be of some help. Please do not take this the wrong way, ignore me if I'm being too intrusive or annoying.
Let's keep this in mind this about the original:
-Lena Raine's music is concise and straight to the point: small introduction, exposition of the theme, build up (which the music is based upon), climax, ending;
-It was made for the "Tricky trials update" and the music vaguely resembles this theme, with the trickiness and the "contraption-y" feeling.
-Your beginning is awesome, perfect for a dramatic feel because it completely sets the scene, but only up until about 1:00, where all the progress made by the music towards a build up (where it probably would have gone) seems to vanish;
-At 1:19 it's like we've started all over again making me question what was the purpose of the first minute and 20 seconds. If you're goal was a push and pull, then a better example we can look at is at 2:04, where the music holds back but the forward momentum is maintained by the repeated notes;
-2:21-2:37 would have been a great bit to put right after the climax of the whole piece, because great contrast makes a great dramatic feeling; but once again here it just nullifies the whole previous minute of lengthy build up. At this point I wonder: "Is he taking me anywhere or are we gonna just sit here?";
-Talking about climax: would you be able to point to me where the "musically highest and lowest" point of your music are? If not precisely, then you haven't got a clear idea of direction in music;
-from 2:37 onwards I listened again what I had already listened, so you went for a slightly more intense repetition, which by itself is not a bad thing, only the fact that it's "slightly more intense", because this clashes with the dramatic feeling which was your goal. There was your clear chance to amplify the sound space, by adding voices, volume, new timbres, ecc.
-I don't get the change of rhythm in the melody. The simple quarter + quarter + quarter note per bar seems more straight forward and gives the music a propulsion forward, while I don't really understand what your change wants to accomplish. At certain points it almost blocks the forward momentum of the music, (like in 0:34);
-Nowadays small pauses are not seen very well by modern audiences, because at any time something must happen, so usually pauses by one voice are filled by other things in some way (a well executed example is 1:00, where that effect keeps the music going, while 1:08 it's just a dead moment);
-It seems to never go anywhere, it's much static which actually makes it less dramatic, but that clashes with your goal.
Keep in mind that re-writing a piece of music, especially if the original is not yours, is very hard and I see tons of poorly done remixes, as anybody can do simple addition and puzzling. Often times the end result is gonna be a worse version than the original, simply because the original is too good to compete with anything, as I think this is the case with Creator. So I think you did an incredible job anyway, adding to the fact that you had the guts to publish it for the world to see.
