I'm curious to know what other people think about this, I want the same thing, for Suda to do more surrealist stuff. But part of me feels like he doesn't have it in him, I feel that directors, and people in general, change over time, their attitudes, thought processes, and feelings evolve throughout their lives/career. A lot of a director's work can be linked to the thoughts and feelings of the time that they were made, I think the first Silver Case game and Twilight Syndrome really reflect a mid to late 90's mentality. Totally different director, but take Kojima for example, sure themes in his later work can be linked back to his early stuff, but I'd say that he says different periods throughout his career, different styles of storytelling and theming. If Suda were to return to that kind of game, how do you guys think it would turn out?
Absolutely crazy that the Correctness chapters were written so quickly, although it kinda adds up. I can definitely see how the surreal, dreamlike atmosphere and monologues could be a result of a severely sleep deprived writer. Also, cute seeing all the KTP regulars from Twitter in the questions, haha.
Everything about this is great. Suda gushing about his love for New Order, James getting to express his love for the games, and even the camera crew chiming in with a few thoughts and observations. Punk's not dead, and I hope it outlasts all of us.
The Silver Case is a phenomenal visual novel and so much has been inspired from it! Thank you for these insights into it's creation :D Tokio Morishima is Mr. Internet.
this whole interview made me smile really really big the way Suda answers the questions are satisfying and he sounds so elegant when he talks thank you grasshopper manufacture for uploading this and thank you for making the best games ever
Mr Suda answering my question about the music in the Silver Case showcasing his Joy Division shirt while I also wearing my Joy Division shirt made my day
As someone who recently deep dived head first into this series I'm so happy to see Suda talk more about them! I absolutely loved the silver case and 25th ward had probably some of my favorite writing in all of video gaming. I really hope Suda makes more visual novel types of games since he really seems to enjoy writing up these scenarios. Also the art and music in both games is absolutely stellar; much love and thanks for this great interview Grasshopper Studios! You make some of my favorite things out there.
Awesome video, so nice to hear Suda talk about some of the characters from TSC and 25th Ward... the text for the questions are a bit hard to read, though :')
It was great to hear some answers from Masahi Ooka. Would it be possible to do a full Q&A in the future with him about his contributions to Suda’s games and supplementary material?
Does anyone know where that piano rendition of "Kusabi" is from? Love it and have been trying to find a link for it since I heard it on the Switch port's menu!
The title of song is called ZERO. U can also hear the track which has similar atmosphere and made by same composer whose name is Erika Ito below. ruclips.net/video/U0Mhzwu9zrc/видео.html
Please let me one more additional question... Is there any chance we can play remake or remaster of FSR? To enjoy Silver case series, that is required piece, I think.
Isn't Placebo the brand of cigarettes? What flavor is in that vape cart, dude!? Cotton Candy? Mint? Is it x20 Strength? x50 Strength? This is important information! It has to be known!
I like No More Heroes and all, but I wish Suda-san would return to the hard-boiled surrealism of The Silver Case and Killer7.
Agreed 100%.
I hope their next game goes back to that direction.
It would be a blast! I don't know about their next game, but Suda said Franck is a gestating project in that line!
I think we everyone agrees with that

the way Mr. Ooka just casually dropped that Tokio is dead is so funny to me
ジェームズさんがクサビをテツさんと呼ぶの愛が伝わってイイすね👏

Thank you for answering my question! Can`t wait for the next Creator`s File episode!
I love this shit so much. We got to know a bit about the world and have some clarifications on little stuff
Thank you for answering my question! Kanto's ambiguous status had bothered me for quite a while haha.
not only did meru predict how tokio was going to die, but there's a chance he was already a ghost during YUKI
interestin'

This was an amazing interview so many fascinating answers, and I think its really cool how Ooka was brought in for questions related to Placebo
Thanks for these, these answers are insightful.
ive been waiting for this

Loved this! Thank you Suda, James and Ooka!
I love this format, I really hope you keep doing it

Damn this was really interesting, also loved the editing!

The greatest mystery of The Silver Case goes unsolved...
Suda’s truly the best
i havent played the 25th ward yet. are there any spoilers in this for it?
a few bits and pieces of it but I assume most of it will go over your head.
I remember being glad when Silver Case was finally localised! But then the story really confused me, haha
