Gigi looks divine or something. The way her hair and clothes seem weightless here. Not to mention her eyes are incredible, bright blue, with an alluring pink accent. Great design

How was the story for you since you haven’t watched anything Gundam before? Hathaway’s Flash is a tricky one since it builds on from the original Gundam series’s and Char’s Counterattack.
@@SicklyOlive i just watched it, without watching anything gundam, and i was pretty lost lmao, like in the middle i noticed he was some sort of guerrilla leader for a rebellion. But i had a hard time rooting for the main character. His team didnt seem to care about killing innocent people on the urban terrorist attack so... i still enjoyed the animation and soundtrack.
@@lowserver2 yeah Hathaway’s Flash is more like an epilogue to the original Gundam saga (Mobile Suit Gundam, Zeta Gundam, ZZ Gundam, and Char’s Counterattack). It definitely expects you to have an understanding of the Universal Century and the history of the previous conflicts and politics. But the visuals and music are definitely a treat all on their own.

The Newtype concept is that as people move into space, their conciousness will expand which could allow people to understand each other on a more empathic level. A character in a previous series says that "humans will be able to understand each other without misconceptions or preconceived notions." Often Newtype characters will have moments where they'll experience the thoughts and feeling of other Newtypes, much like what Hathaway experienced with Gigi when she tell him that the terrorists are fakes. As for the rewinding of time, Newtypes aren't that powerful though with the right machinery, they can expand their abilities further and there is a moment in Unicorn Gundam where the protagonist travels through time, more or less, subconsiously. The scene you're probably talking about is just a moment Hathaway has where he's thinking back on all that he's experienced in the movie up until that point before he has a vision of sorts of Amuro, the protagonist of original Gundam and Char's Counterattack. The only other vision I can think of is after the fight in the park when Kenneth arrives on the scen and Gigi runs after him. With the sounds of horses and Gigi calling out "Captain!" Hathaway is reminded of an event that happened in Char's Counterattack with another girl who is similar to Gigi named Quess. Hope this helps, I know it's a lot of information.

Honestly just watch a summary if you don’t want to put in the time of the others. You could even go in blind , you would be a confused on motivations and background but the movie is too much of a marvel not to watch
Funny enough, the mecha(Or Mobile suit in lore) you see drop off the terrorists early on the scene was manned by a infamous faction known as the Titans. And trust me, they love doing warcrimes

Only problem had with movie, was mobile suit battles at night you could hardly see frames of mobile suits, let alone the gundams, cause so dark!~!!!!!!!!
Todos las películas de gundam son igual de aburridas, no entiendes a los personajes o porqué mueren y si mueren lo hacen sin un sentido narritivo, solo mueren, al final ejecutan a Hathaway, me había emocionado, pero es la misma mierda de siempre con Gundam, todo es muy pedorro.

For a Gundam dub this was rather poor. Normally the dub for Gundam content is rather good.
