I'll forever love this Gundam. I was big on SEED when I was younger. 00 was amazing. I watched as it aired and I still revisit the entire series(including the movie) at least once a year.
I began with Wing. Never really cared for SEED, but it wasn't bad. 00 was the one that really got me, though. It still had plenty of mistakes, but it had some of the most accurate political conflict to-date.
I've never watched gundam 00; Gundam seed was how I got into watching anime. I like the anime, but even I can tell form the 1st episode they where been used.
First and only Gundam that hooked me. Animation, characters, plot, action all on point. Still binge both seasons at least once a year. Setsuna is a bad ass, I AM GUNDAM!!! CHILLS

00 always the best gundam series in my opinion. The graphics are in HD, top tier quality , very vibrant color and clean. In my childhood , i will play both OP and ED in each season on repeat cause how awesome they are. Furthermore, the storylines are so refined , easy to understand cause almost similar to real-world situation in each power block of nations . Their main gundams have very slick design, vibrant color. And each has their own unique, distinct style in combat and weaknesses. Each character are well developed in terms of backstory, clear objectives and emotion
Thanks for the upload. To me, like most of the other Gundams, 00 is timeless in its own way. Original storytelling, Gundams, animation (so ahead of its time - already 15 years since it's launch and still looks like its produced today?!) and amazing writing. Its something I can watch again and again - so many epic scenes in this whole franchise.
I love this show. It was the first Gundam show I tried that really got it hooks into me. And while I've grown to love the lore and craziness of the UC as I've gotten older, I still think 00 tells the most cohesive and punchy through narrative (well, I didn't care for the film, but the series is solid)

To me Seed and seed destiny along with OO were my childhood. I still remember my grandma getting my first HG which was Exia. It'll be great binging all of this again.

I think you need to wait till 2027. Sadly Setsuna will be sidelined due to his trip to ELS homeland, but Graham will take his place. There is a new racist organisation called Humarize, basically the discrimination between pure humans and those that fused with ELS as well as Innovators. I hope to see new mobile suits, but I guess they will just gonna revamp old suits with new technologies.

00 ages as well as it does because at the time of production, the issues it focuses on, conflict in the middle east, the looming energy crisis, etc., were all problems we'd been going back and forth on for decades. There was no reason to believe they could be resolves in the foreseeable future. It's harrowing to realize that, a decade and the half later, writers were right. On a less depressing note, the mobile suit designs are on point. By the time 00 came out, the 90s Gundams were already showing their age, we were already leaving behind that, smooth, rounded aesthetic in lieu of the sleek and sharp. 15 yrs later, it still feels like modern mecha anime largely uses the same aesthetic cues 00 did. Interestingly, we've also started to transition away from the traditionally humanoid, if Kyoukai Senki and 86 (even IBO, taking into account those exaggerated proportions) are any indication, but that's another discussion.
If anything, 00 still has aspects of the smooth and rounded here and there, most notably the Enact, and the Innovade suits. And even more so, further on in the post-movie era of the exploration ship _Sumeragi_

He feared that if humanity was still divided by war and unprepared, then they'll simply continue the war in space, and with other species. And even with preparations being done just in the nick of time, they still almost failed.
Not really related to your point, though it was a VERY good one, but…we gotta talk about 00’s UI aesthetics. Even more than a decade after its premiere, 00 _still_ manages to make their holographic UIs _the_ most futuristic-looking out of all the Gundam series’. Hell of a visual achievement, if you ask me.
I love the opening scene so much, as it sets up so much of what this show is about. Setsuna is repeating to himself that there is no God in this world, and then gets saved by an angelic looking Gundam descending from the sky as if it is saying "Yes, there is a God, and he's right here." Which leads to the question prevalent throughout much of the show- are these Gundams fighting for righteousness, or are they playing God?
The origin story of Gundam 00 isn't quite so clear but it's shown that the secretive organization existed for a long time, the fact that innovades lives amongst humans and doesn't age are examples of that.

My favourite gundam series - ever. Very dramatic plot and each character and gundam is cool in his/her/its own way. This is at least the 5th time I am watching the series.

It's been almost 15 years since this anime has been around... After that, Unicorn Gundam etc. came out, but I can't seem to get past this work. The BGM is also awesome. I don't think we can lose to Gundam Seed and Destiny.

00 Gundam will always be my favorite Gundam series! The only reason I even care for Gundam overall is that I never had a series to interest me until this rolled out and I was hooked. It gave off a lil of that Robotech vibe...again a series before its time.

You know the Japanese really liked the movie after a few years as they began to embrace the story again. So give it another try.
Gundam Wing was my first and Gundam OO was like a newer version of it.

Nucs would be used to try to stop them. Overall, it's scary to see how the world would react. Collateral damage would be terrifying enough.

I have started my second Gundam series ever after Iron blooded orphans and I am really impressed by the art and animation.
Gundam hasn't been the same for me, ever since 00 finished airing. Hope Witch from Mercury turns out to be good.
Unfortunately, it seems that it didn’t end well. Season 2’s story was totally messed up.
I didn't even try to watch it. . The moment the trailer was released I got a hunch its gonna be bad. Try the barbatos series it's also good.
