Welcome to the Zach Highley Show, where we discuss personal growth and medicine to figure out how to improve our lives. My name is Zach and I’m a medical student, and soon to be physician, in Philadelphia. Throughout these episodes I’ll interview top performers from around the world in business, life, and medicine in hopes of extracting the resources and techniques they use to get to the top.
The best way to help the show is share episodes on any platform. If you think a friend or family member will like a certain episode, send it to them!
Wow, what an incredible guy. Very very humble and down to earth. Very inspiring to hear as someone who will also be a non traditional
I'm a non traditional MD-3 and I resonate with this
This is absolutely incredible
I think I could listen to Brian Till talk about anything
“I have to do….” vs. “I get to do….” is crucial 😂😂❤
Such a great guest! Really love hearing different perspectives give answers to the questions you ask each guest
He's a beast all around, thanks for the nice words
This is an absolutely amazing interview. The nuance and experience he answers the questions with is so spot on.
It’s certainly a long and hard road from higher secondary school to gen surgery. Several years of hard work, timeless days and sleepless nights , preparing for the exams, emergency room, ORs , clinics and so on. Yet the work is fulfilling and rewarding.
Really like what you are doing with the show Zach, keep up the good work. Great interviewees, great topics, and really great editing as usual.
What a genius! His advice at the end is incredible.
what an awesome guy
First rate interview for both Dr. Till and future Dr. Highley! You both make it look easy.
Fascinating person and life. Thanks for providing this interview. This is the first one i watched all the way through :)
Awesome interview!!
This is just amazing!
He’s a brilliant guest!
The "What Would You Say to Year 1..." section really made me aware of how important research is
Incredible, How insghtfull in the actual life and day of a general spurgeon. What to actually learn, how insightful, be aware of. How you leda as a doctor! This is things i have been thinking of, and never heard some «youtube doctors» Really talk about. Going in the deeps with names and times and peoples!
Great episode! I'm an incoming med student, and listening to the advice at 1:10:00 was very helpful. I've constantly heard how important it is to do a bunch of research in med school, but it was nice to hear some actionable advice for how to actually get good at that. I'm definitely going to look into learning Python or something like that!
Great podcast
good podcast!
Great interview, Zach! This was so helpful as a third year! Plastic surgeon interview next?
I am actively searching for one right now!
Me noticing how every doctor says "lean in" 👀
Premed here, love all these interviews!
I love the comment he makes about knowing he did it right when the scrub tech didn't pull out his sutures he put in. lol. Very true.
👌👌
I was in special Ed too
What about organ printing machines that are modified to work on injured patients?
