    I really wish that the Celtics would have drafted Kyle Filipowski. Questions about his readyness coming into a win now environment aside, the guy spent 2 full seasons playing college ball, already giving him an edge in terms of experience. But more importantly, during those KP injury riddled stretches, he's a guy that can slot into that stretch 5 slot quite well. Sure he may need to work on his shot a bit, but the Celtics are already locks for the playoffs anyway so why not use that regular season time to get him confident when he releases his shot from outside the arc. He's already a really skilled big man inside the paint and is a very capable defender when it comes to being able to withstand banging bodies down low and cleaning the glass as well.

    • @ssjam6120
      @ssjam6120 19 дней назад

      I don’t think Boston’s center depth is as bad as some make it out to be. Kyle would’ve been a good pick regardless, but Tillman can really hold his own, I like how hard queta plays, big Al is great. But I agree overall, I think rob will was the last real big the Celtics drafted.

    • @narrow3601
      @narrow3601 19 дней назад

      @ssjam6120 agreed that the depth is nice, but even then, the C's true strength comes from their unnatural floor spacing. During the time when KP's gone, if Al is sitting for any amount of time, their strength minimised to a large extent.

    Bulls - Giddey starts as the primary point guard/playmaker and Lonzo Ball spends some time in the G League. If Lonzo totally cooks everyone in the G-League (as he should) then he can join the main team. If he struggles in the G-League then let him go.
    Grizzlies - If they stay healthy, they're in the playoffs. Best thing they can do is get Zach Edey starting at center. Throw him in at the deep end and get him used to the NBA because then he'll be useful in the playoffs.

      In the first 4 years of his 5 year, untradable max contract that finally ended last season, TOBIAS HARRIS was the highest paid player on the team, not Joel Embiid. It's hard to build a roster than can succeed when you're giving "best player on the team money" to someone who straight up makes the team worse. Someone so bad on the court and overpaid they couldn't even trade him as a expiring contract. They managed to lose Al Horford for 1 pick but couldn't get rid of Tobias for half a decade because he made too much of the team's money. But sure, it's just that Embiid can't carry, you totally understand this shit and basketball in general my guy

    You're sleeping on the Spurs. VW will take a leap and he will win the DPOY and b/c of CP3 will also win the Most Improved Player award. Now, if all remain healthy, the Spurs will turn at least 20 of those close losses in the 4Q from last year to 15+ wins. PLUS, with VW surrounded by a better team and no stupid Pop experiment (tank) with Sochan out of place as a PG, that = another 10+ wins. So I predict 45+ wins and play-in. If they trade fr Brandon Ingram, then they are a 4-5 seed.
    Roster for 2024-‘25: VW, Sochan, Barnes, Vassel and CP3 are starters. Off the bench: Castle (gets 25mpg and wins ROY), Jones, Johnson, Collins, Mamu, Cissoko, Branham, Wesley, Champagnie; Bouyea. That leaves 3 slots for total of 18 players. (Player trade assets: Johnson; Collins; Champagnie; Branham; Wesley; Bouyea)
