These levels of crashes are pretty common no matter how long you do the sport. Totally right that these were all painful as hell though. The reason you can stand right away is your body pumps out all its adrenaline. To put it into perspective; imagine getting picked up and slammed on the ground. Sure you will probably stand up but in a few hours you start to feel the bruised bones and missing skin.
Yep, even slow speed crashes if there’s heavy head impact it’s like the worst thing. I’ve been lucky enough to know to wear a helmet but i I hit a pothole on my electric board going 60kmh, got launched into a quarter frontflip and slid 40 feet on mostly my face shield. Needless to say I would’ve been fucked even if I was wearing a half helmet
@@kim98677 not as good as unscratched skins, I have experience with it so dont say it. Just wear full gear, the cost dont upweigh the scars.It should be mandatory for longboarding
