Im glad you mentioned Shavkats "it" factor. I think he's one of those international fighters that builds his reputation as a stoic assassin, which has always been an interesting archetype. If he wins and gets through Belal, he has the opportunity to have a mystique similar to Poatan. Obviously a lot has to happen for that to come to fruition, but he definitely has the IT. Garry is definitely a live dog, but he gives his opponents a lot of bulletin board material as a typical heel. Shavkat won't be doing that, nor will he get caught up in the circus that follows the Irishman. Shavkat by decision, but winning in convincing fashion.
Garry's last few opponents have all been strikers (MVP, Geoff Neal, Daniel Rodriguez etc) ....5 of Shavkat's last 6 wins have been by submission /choke ....protect ya neck Garry!
The last time two undefeated fighters who had this much hype going into their fight was Adesanya vs costa back at ufc 253 both were undefeated at the time
Shavkat will pressure him on the ground, same as he did with Wonderboy. He is not so stupid to stand with Garry and give him possibilities. His ground game is a lot better than Garry and that's what he is going after.
It’s been circulating for a long time that Shavkat KOed Garry when they were training together. Also, a lot of shavkats submissions have been after he’s pummeled his opponents badly (prezeras, Neal). Expect him to do the same here. Ian is gonna fight like a total chicken
Garry grappled MVP pretty aggressive not super effective but definitely hurt the punching output on both sides, and i totally disagree about MVP he's a real killer, lima/ perry 5 rounds bkfc/ Holland he broke cyborgs face! He's gonna beat sharabullet watch
Gonna be honest not the biggest Garry fan but Colby 1000% dodged him. Was supposed to fight him in Tampa denied it and is his replacement against buckley
Am betting ian garry cuz times on his side plus there's better value if shavkat don't get garry out in the 1st 2 rounds I strongly believe garry will take over the fight he has better footwork and head movement plus he has the much better jab
I think shavkat only thing he need is more strength ! for this takedowns and head movement his a great he's great technically i want him to ko garry. Shavkat should win james????
I wonder if this PPV would sell slightly better if this was the main event. It wouldn’t surprise me if Rakhmonov has more fans in PPV buying countries than Pantoja has.
What happens if it's a draw? Does either one lose their W😂😂😂😂😂 I can really see this happening,100% Finish rate against 100% Decision rate = Draw 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Hopefully it's at least a WAR
Shavkat knees, punches and kicks are heavy. Not the best technique but because of his frame and body structure, his srikes are heavier than most opponents in this division. He drains the nrj out of his opponents through heavy knes and wrestling control, they start making mistakes as they get tired, and then he submit them in zillion different ways. He's different in his own way, as are Pereira and Topuria. "destroyer"is the only term that come to my mind when I look at his fights. Ian Garry has like 20 % chances to win, to my opinion.
Shavkat is the typical image of the kazakh horse warriors from the legions of Attila the Hun. Winning by points decision is not part of their world. They come to erase whoever is in front of them.
of all Garry's opponents, which ones were strikers and which were grapplers? Same question for Shavkat. THAT will tell you who wins. I say Shavkat wins inside the distance
Shavkat struggled against Geoff Neal and Thompson on the feet I think Ian Garry is better than them both on the feet with his speed distance control and striking highly doubt he gets subbed
BS,Shav is not submitting Gary…. Iran wins by unanimous decision. …. He trains with Charles so is well prepared for submissions. Besides Gary is a master technical
"Destroyed"? He eeked out a very close decision. And he won by (smartly) taking the fight to the ground. MVP was winning the striking battle. Garry definitely didn't destroy MVP
I got Ian. I think he will be good enough to stop takedowns and then use his striking to win by decision. He is so good and so fast. I don’t care what people say about him personally, I like to see what the fighters do inside the octagon. Shav is phenomenal too. Don’t get me wrong. I could definitely be wrong, but I got Ian.

I need shavkat to win this 😂😂
I have a feeling Garry is going to pull it off. He has great grappling and Shavkhats takedowns aren’t strong enough to get him down.
Garry's last few opponents have all been strikers (MVP, Geoff Neal, Daniel Rodriguez etc) ....5 of Shavkat's last 6 wins have been by submission /choke ....protect ya neck Garry!
The last time two undefeated fighters who had this much hype going into their fight was Adesanya vs costa back at ufc 253 both were undefeated at the time
This is gonna be better I'd think
I thought it sucked that someone on the top ranking lose their 0 on a non title fight, not even a main event!
Shavkat will pressure him on the ground, same as he did with Wonderboy. He is not so stupid to stand with Garry and give him possibilities. His ground game is a lot better than Garry and that's what he is going after.
I think he's gonna let it bang but definitely finds out Garry has heavy hands
It’s been circulating for a long time that Shavkat KOed Garry when they were training together. Also, a lot of shavkats submissions have been after he’s pummeled his opponents badly (prezeras, Neal). Expect him to do the same here. Ian is gonna fight like a total chicken
Ian's calling is to be a 'corner man' and Shavkat is best to show him the way
Garry grappled MVP pretty aggressive not super effective but definitely hurt the punching output on both sides, and i totally disagree about MVP he's a real killer, lima/ perry 5 rounds bkfc/ Holland he broke cyborgs face! He's gonna beat sharabullet watch

I think the Geoff Neil fight was close yes he finished him but it was close up to the finish in the 3rd round.
Am betting ian garry cuz times on his side plus there's better value if shavkat don't get garry out in the 1st 2 rounds I strongly believe garry will take over the fight he has better footwork and head movement plus he has the much better jab
Its a bad fight. Ian was building up well and actually improving. This fight makes no sense
How Come “leg reach” is never noted?
Will have to do a split to measure that
I think shavkat only thing he need is more strength ! for this takedowns and head movement his a great he's great technically i want him to ko garry. Shavkat should win james????

I agree

I like both shavkat prob wins but I think it’ll be competitive but it would be cool if Gary wins too

Garry gets the decision in an ugly fight. Boos rain down on the octagon.
Shavkat is the typical image of the kazakh horse warriors from the legions of Attila the Hun. Winning by points decision is not part of their world.
They come to erase whoever is in front of them.
If Garry win its be upset millenium
Garry is young and still improving,, don't be quick to rule him out
How did I rule him out?
@@LynchOnSports Not you bro, I just mean in general....a lot of people are writing him off, that comment wasn't meant for you 👊
@garbennett4758 - I'm the only one in the video, so it didn't seem that way 😂
. Garry is gonna take it by decision.
Also james hope you have a great Thanksgiving holiday
I'm Canadian, we had our Thanksgiving last month but thanks anyways!
Shav going to make it look easy
Didn't make Neal look easy
@@reichspector2413 the journey and the destination will always vary…. This is a easy win
i'm thinking shavkat wins in round 2 by submission.
Ian Garry, will lose this fight

Everyone finishes STeve Thompson .. come on
@CaseyKCRichards - "Everyone finishes STeve Thompson " uh Wonderboy has 20 UFC fights, he's been finished THREE TIMES. Knocked out twice.
@ 3 times where it mattered
@CaseyKCRichards - So you're admitting you're wrong. Thanks
@ just saying he is one of the worst fighters iin UFC …. When it comes t the top fighters, he loses. The worst fighter is Anthony Smith
Ian Garry kos the hype train
lol are you calling shavkat a "hype train" ??? :)
so funny :-)
I’m sorry, I respect your opinion but Garry is going to be too quick for Shavkat, I see this 60/40 Garry
You said he's knock out Shavkat too. Don't forget that
BS,Shav is not submitting Gary…. Iran wins by unanimous decision. …. He trains with Charles so is well prepared for submissions. Besides Gary is a master technical
Garry gonna sleep RNC by shavkat
I think Ian is going to strike from distance for 5 rounds. 48-47 Garry
Garry will destroy Rakhmonov the same way he destroyed Page. 🥊
"Destroyed"? He eeked out a very close decision. And he won by (smartly) taking the fight to the ground. MVP was winning the striking battle. Garry definitely didn't destroy MVP
@@paulfrancois7653 Perry destroyed Page too. 🥊
Garry stalled the fight bro by cage humping him
@@feisal7863 Page - Yes - Is a good striker but Garry adapted in the fight and won - Fair and square. 🥊
