    It's a tragedy that there are so few recordings of 'young' Panditji from the 40s and 50s. These recordings throw light on how he nurtured his own gayaki over the years... Thank you for sharing this gem.

      Doesn't matter. His peak was 1960-1976. And all those recordings are well captured. Anything before that according to himself was not "his" own as that of his 40s and 50s recordings.

    This is pristine, simply divine! One of the most vivid portrayals of daybreak and indeed, one of the finest vocal renditions of the raga I've ever heard! Thank you so much for sharing this priceless recording!
