the most beautiful and optimized shaders i have seen are called Sildurs Vibrant Shaders. I play them in survival with VR and even on minimum settings it looks great

​@@MXK_BSrender dragon is not bad. Before it exist the old rendering engine complaining about sluggish gameplay and jira is full of reports about performance and shader issues. Mojang is pissed and use render dragon instead. (Idk if render dragon was used in java but i think it is)

If you have ~40-20 fps, Yo fps only takes it to around 11. Personally I can't use it but this is definitely the best one you can find!

Theres a shader called skylec that i use for 1.8.9, its honestly the highest performance shader for its quality compared to the 20-30 others ive tried across multiple different versions. Drawbacks are its lack of customization, but it comes amazing out the box. I havent used it in survival though so i would love feedback on that end.
