Festool HKC55 is a very good builders saw, I had one. The Festool HKC plunge function is the best on the market. FSN rails are made by Bosch, and a Bosch patent, not Mafell. Mafell just license and put their name on it. I had the Mafell KSS50, changed to HKC55 but now I will change over to the Bosch because I have most of my "rough" gear in Bosch 18V. I don't expect the Bosch to be better than Festool or Mafell but I am sure it will be good enough for this type of saw. Judging by the demonstration here it will do the same job. I look forward to getting one as soon as they come out and have just sold off my HKC55.
@@hrundgren4352 You are not telling the truth. FSN slats are manufactured by Mafell. I was at the Mafell factory in Oberndorf am Neckar and saw it with my own eyes. Mafell has a patent for the cutting bar. The Mafell KSS system is the oldest.
@@otakarsvojse6952 This was info from Bosch representative. It was their "truth". I looked into the Patent and it seems it is a Mafell Patent from 2002/2003. But the patent is withdrawn.
