    This is very informative and helpful. Looks fantastic and Tilly looks happy and healthy. Thanks for posting this.

    Tilly is the reason I'm going down the frog path.. something has me hooked on frogs, keep the maintenance vids coming mate, also the transformation is insane in those plants

      Frogs are fantastic. I honestly think I would have gone way further into them and kept all the frogs I had, had I not moved into an apartment. I’d love to create the Aussie version of Troy Goldbergs tropical Garage.

    Really good to see how it's come on since the build video. I am new to GTFs and am looking at starting my build soon, just getting a lot of info first like your videos before I start.
    Question if I may, so all the plants are placed into the water, no substrate,mix etc required?
    Thanks for the vids 👍👍🙏

      Good luck with your build! Yeah 0 dirt or anything in this build. I let the plants clean the water mostly but still do water changes fortnightly.

      Thank you. Plenty more to come as I go. I did an update on the baby greens a couple months back if you’d like to see that video.

    Awesome video as always. With your moss do not use any from outside as you risk Chytrid fungus coming in and that will kill your frog. If you want mosses then use tissue culture moss. Also make sure Timbers, rocks and plants are treated prior to using. Have a heap of Green Tree Snake questions for you if you could
    Drop me a line that would
    Be awesome.

      Gday Fraser, yeah you sure can risk fungus. Helps to cook your moss in an incubator or over a heat mat to prevent the risk. That’s what I did leading up to this.
      I don’t work with green tree snakes so can’t help you there I’m afraid.

    I love your channel but are you going to add plants to all the lizards enclosure give them something else other than wood

    • @BeachesScalyBeasts
      @BeachesScalyBeasts  Год назад

      I’ll link I video you may find interesting where I use plant cuttings as enrichment so I bring in new smells and foraging capabilities.
      Not all my enclosures can house plants full time due to a lot of the heat requirements of the animals.
