I lost my mother 12years ago but it feels like yesterday 😢😢grief and sadness is just hard to deal with,i wished i had super powers too to just bring her back but naah...i was depressed and stressed out,got angry most of the times but God knows it better and hes near to the broken hearted. Man. I feel ur pain. I lost my mom on Feb 26th 2023 nd then lost my dad on December 29th 2023. Nd life has been so hard adjusting to it. When u said I'm proud of you nd I love you, I felt it cause those were the same words my parents have said to me nd I miss hearing it from them.. I'm still struggling but trying to be a support to my 3 sisters throughout this. But it's hard being the only son cause I've felt so weak . I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this.

“Why am I so sad for so long.” This hit me. I, too feel guilty for still being sad that I lost my dad to drug overdose and the men in my life end up in jail or battling drugs or alcohol. I have so many things to be happy for but it’s hard to be happy right now.

I didn’t realize it till now, but I‘ve been mourning the loss of my sis for a few years. It shows up as insecurity, trust& abandonment issues. Shoot. Might even stem back to my relationship with my pops. But I just had to say right on for sharing this. Hold ya head up fam. You woke up on the right side of the dirt. 💯
I feel ya brother! Wish I had that superpower. I would take my wife's pain as she navigates breast cancer. But, you know what, we do have a superpower. It is the power of availability. We can show up and show out. We can support when no one else does. Sometimes, the superpower looks more like sitting quietly with someone as they crawl through the junk...and being there on the other side to help them get themselves cleaned up and helping them forward. Love...and sadness need to be felt. Because if we never experience the darkness, we will not appreciate the light!
