Can you go over the steps it took to get an approved app? I just submitted an app but I have a feeling it is not going to pass as I'm just trying to get it set up so I can test out the API. It seems like there would be a sandbox for developers to experiment.
@@senorbaka I will see about a video on submitting. They are working on updates to the API, or so they claim, which will allow for testing and things like sandbox mode but for now it has to be in production or you can't really do anything.

Thank you for your video. I have 2 other mandatory fields in the form when creating an app, "Terms of Service URL" and " Privacy Policy URL". I understand I have to put an URL to the TOS and privacy policy of my app... but for now it's just to use the API just for testing, learning and have some fun.... any idea what to put in there ?
Right now they don't really have a good way for testing and your app needs to be reviewed and approved in production in order to test. When I talked to them they said they were working on ways to make it eaisier for developers to test.

Looks like I'm echoing a lot of the other comments--- your videos are great! But the greatest barrier seems to be app approval. Would you be open to sharing (or have you already shared) lessons learned on getting app approval? It's a chicken-and-egg problem.... we need app approval to develop an app, but we to develop an app to get app approval :(

nope cause this was an overview on creating the app. More videos to follow, I'm just waiting on my app to be reviewed and set to live mode. Then I am going to make videos on implementing things like the login kit and display api so those will be actual code implementation

This is reallyu good. we will be looking forward to how we can use this API to send notifications and videos to tiktok user and also messages......

you need to submit your app for review and get it approved, then it will be live mode
