I just shot a doe and in the process of field dressing it the back corder had white liquid coming out. Trying to figure out if it’s milk, or did the deer just get done rutin. Never seen it before and can’t find out what it is.

I dress it soon as I come up on it, before dragging it out on my cart. You are spot on!
I skin my ASAP as well. Far easier to skin a warm deer.
Sharpens easier and holds and edge longer.

She was lactating. It was milk. She would have had teets and usually a milk sac inside the teets.
Does it stink that bad

Who the F drives around with a deer not gutted
Why would you ever hose it down? That is a no no. If there is any bad bacteria now you’re spreading it around!
Who taught you that? lol
