Top 10 HillClimb Monsters || Alpe Del Nevegal 2021

- Alpe Del Nevegal was held under tricky weather conditions but had one of the most unique entrylists of the year featuring several Bike Engine swapped protos alongside the Golf Mk1 and Kadett Berg-Cup style NA screamers and the fiery Lancia, Evo and Golf Turbocharged Beasts. With rain affecting the final official placings drastically we decided to order this Top 10 under the single fastest run achieved by a car during the weekend. That way, these were the fastest 10:

@Hillclimb Monsters I can always google them but often the info is not there, so can we ask you a favor to also include if the cars have been modified to be RWD instead of its FWD/AWD origins, or mid-engined from front-engined? Sometimes it's not obvious just looking at their cornering lines because they all corner quite similarly
I do really like these "Top 10 Monsters" videos, as they showcase the absolute breadth of machines people bring to these events.

A Hayabusa swap classic mini cooper is my wet dream, I absolutely love watching all these little hatchbacks just screaming up the road.
The mechanical grip of that 500 Is amazing, It looked on rails
And 250 HP meeting some 650 Kg race ready! That thing must be so much fun! 😂

Alpe Del Nevegal is very interesting and tricky hillclimb and always has spectacular entrylist.Speaking of cars and drivers wise,Rudi Bicciato in his trusty Evo 6,Harald Freitag in his cool Kadett GT/E,Roman Gurschler in his small but mighty 500,Gianluca Ticci in his crazy X1/9 and Karl Schagerl in his legendary Golf.Others did great as well.Thanks for another great Top 10.

There were more but the rain and how twisty Alpe Del Nevegal is, made their life way more difficult. The more agile, lighter protos here have an advantage ;)
In a hillclimb event size matters a lot. As does weight.

Hillclimb Racing has quite a few. Including Manuel Dondi´s unit which is one of the fastest Hillclimb Monsters in the World ;)

These cars are going a LOT faster than it looks in these videos. The zooming of the camera cancels the sense of speed but they are fast as heck.

Karl Schagerl with the golf mk2 is the fastest as always. Schagerl is The King of Hillclimb ever. I am still missing fiat x 1/9 with Manuel Dondi and didn't seen him from 2018 so far. Also Reto Meisel with the slk judd didn't come around. Where some of the best monsters dissapear?

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be
banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine
and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027
on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any
longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.
What the f**k is in that Opel? It sure as hell isn't stock.
