Really impressed with Intel's Flex series GPU offerings.
We are too. Gaming on them tonight live on our Discord 😂
Initially it was mentioned that it would work with Xen Hypervisor. Have you tried that?
We have not but Xen App & Desktop are listed on the data sheet.
Could you post that thingiverse link for the GPU-stand? It was promised in the description, but I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks Jordan, that was great!
How well does it work with Proxmox?
you want to be banned don't you ;)
Hey there, great content! Can this GPU be used on a non server chip like an i9 or ryzen and proxmox? Thanks!
The card does not care about the CPU.
as far as proxmox goes, while not officially supported, i have it on good authorty that if you Look around there is 1 forum That has info.
I want one or two for my proxmox homelab!,
I was told at VMware Explore that mixed vGPU profiles could be run off of a single card, so some 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, etc, off of one card. Did your findings corrobwrate?

Flex GPUs are a flop on WW channel data, absolutely rejected. mb
Emerald Rapids is absolutely rejected by everyone; hyper to cloud to enterprise waiting for Granite Intel 3. There are few ER on a volume basis last week at 2.2% of Sapphire Rapids that is 29% of Ice Lake that is 26.2% of Cascade Lakes original returns to secondary market and refresh clears down. Currently Xeon Skylake is high volume seller last week more than all following generations Intel and AMD combined in total WW channel inventory available for sale and Skylake sold more than anything else. mb
Good report on FLEX that isn't readily available and no one is actually buying beyond given samples. Leave it to Intel for constant improvement on the features that do offer unique benefits but this round isn't it. mb
No VDI workstation in box for 32 users (with management processors) performance in relation options and you said it Office? mb
Xeon MAX, failed in the first 8 weeks after launch. mb
It might help if Intel did more to show people the benefits, you'd be amazied at how hard they are for us to deal with, ore maybe not. Either way, they offer good value for VDI - that's hard to argue at this point, especially with the cards being so inexpensive.
