I can't wait to start a 4m build, working on my sxc24 right now just chasing performance. Your videos have helped me learn alot and excited to see more of the new/old style going into 2025! Keep killing it out there 🤘
the King Snake chassis has a 12 degree skid angle to maximize rear clearance and move the motor/electronics to a tilted forward position, vastly improving forward weight bias. Squatting the rear end so far (like the setup in this video) fully eliminates the whole purpose of the chassis design. I’m sure you’d get way better results on the test course
I see what you mean. He made the skid like 6 degrees instead of 12. And lost a lot of clearance due to the angle and the lack of double bend links. Could be so much better!!!
Awesome build, it's got me seriously considering that DBRC chassis. Good times with the kid though, that's what it's all about. As far as the gear noise, I've noticed that with every set of metal trx4m trans gears I've tried. Try using permatex purple ceramic brake caliper lube on them! I've used all the common grease types: red automotive bearing/chassis grease, blue marine grease, gray moly grease, the clear/white ptfe food safe grease, and the purple ceramic brake lube is by far the best for reducing that annoying gear noise.
Super Lube synthetic grease with silicone. Get a 3oz tube and run it in your transmissions and differentials. Really helps quiet them down and keep the gears happy.
looks like a Baja truck with long soft suspension, very cool :) do you think the construction would survive a Baja style drive if you mounted everything (no loose radio or battery, I don't even know if you have any loose components LOL) would it survive long fast jumps I guess is what I'm asking ???
Random question, what lights should I get for my scx24 c10. Only one lights up and it still flickers. Or do u think it is something electronic not the actual light
Are you running 8.4v directly to the servo from the tegu 24? I was told not to do that by Furitek but man if it works for you maybe I’ll have to try it.

7:17 that little laugh is devious
Love it. Chassis looks great and I think the body is killer.
Wow! I think you need to build me one! I LOVE it! I'm doing an Ascent 18 build right now but I'm super jealous of this! 😅😂
Very nice, informative rc video👍, and a great moment with your son. Keep this exciting moments going 👍
It’s a nice truck for sure!
I love the king snake chassis. I just built one.
HAPPY NEW YEAR Adam to you and family.........
It reminds me of the Commancheap! One of these days I want to build a scale version of the Scorpion.
Both rigs look super awesome!
Looks like the cheap mod Deadbolt is still the king! 👑
Love it🤘🏻
I was just looking into some chassis' from DBRC today.

that chassis loves long legs in the back. I love my gila
Howdy👊
The scx24 works so much better with the springs removed I found

Whal do you recommend for extending the longer links?
My 4m with metal gears is also pretty loud
Oh Ya 😊 Nice

What wheels and tires can I put on my stock trx4m bronco that won't rub badly

At what point is my TRX4M no longer a TRX4M and just an Injora? 😅
It's still trx4m based, so probably never
Cool
Im new and confused. What part of this makes it a Trx4m
you for sure need custom links
GOOD
