@@POOCHDOGGG for me I want a TCM movie but I want the Netflix film to be ignored but a legacy timeline which stays in the 70s and to mid 80s because I think the TCM timeline belongs there not in the 2022 like we might’ve watched.
on the roadmap idea, i agree with Wes, building hype and expectation only hurts games in the long run, so by not building hype and not making promises, they wont be letting people down when those promises are inevitably not met (remember theyre a small dev team, maybe if they had the support that most triple-A games had, id agree, but they dont, so i dont.)
i mean, just look at how Cyberpunk 2077 played out. They made promises, drove up expectations and hype for over a decade, and when they needed more time to finish the game (to make it as good as they promised) the gaming community ripped them a new one so bad that they were forced to release it before it was fully completed, resulting in a poorly made game that wasnt optimized for the generation of consoles it released on, and has only now (after several years) really began to find its own footing and become something great.
I will always 100% prefer a long waiting period over a poorly made product, and if not having hype is the price to pay, then its totally worth it.
They need to do more with stealth. Having high stealth is only good if you plan on spamming toolbox, bone shard or crawl space.
That new noise thing that follows you when you make noise and being highlighted should have a duration base on your stealth.
Right now its better to just put all your points on proficiency instead of stealth.
They want us to play more stealthy but they literally made a Family (Nancy) that can see exactly where your at. 😂 Whaaaaaattt?!?!

nancy can see what you are seeing . which i agree is powerful. but you can leave quickly and shimmy through a few cracks and you are out. unless you are un lucky enough to be spottted opening the last door or something.
But lets not get started with Danny. a character that if he opens the valve or the fuse box is GG for the family. . even if you gather all thef amily at the gate its just to say good bye to the and wish them luck in their future kidnappings.
The one exit that you can take as a victim that works 7 out of 10 times is the fuse box . add Danny tampering and it is over. there is nothing stopping the victims that are still alive from getting out unless they can juke worth a shit
They need to make it so more stealth means the victims STFU cause they talk more than sissy

Man, when i heard that Gun Media was making tcm the game, i was really excited! Because after evil dead: the game was a huge fuckin let down for me? I was like damn i don't want to play it anymore lol well tcm is coming i hope they do it right, 1 year later lobby dodging, crushes, the maps, no one wants to be leatherface, the victims rushing and sooooo on........I'm like wtf you guys are doing! 🤦♂️ specially you gun! i wanted to buy it instead i bought outlast trials and i dont regret it its amazing game good devs but cant say the same for TCM ik its prob now fixed but there were alot of cheaters like they could control the players i remember when xbox gamepass version had no anticheat at all and i kept pausing one streamer game since i had dev console enabled i could pause the whole server i got bored yea the game is like so repetetive but outlast trials is actually so fun u can do many things.

BEWARE THO the only people that are playing nowadays are sweats and know what they are doing just a warning it may be rough coming in new BUT I’ll always recommend TCSM it’s great just lacks content

The roadmap answer really didn't sit well with me I gotta say. That's actually really dangerous. If I had a roadmap of 7 things, but I only hit 5 of them? What that would tell me is to decrease the number of milestones on the roadmap to something achievable.

I don’t feel like they even have enough stuff to put into a damn roadmap. Danny and Nancy are still pretty fresh, and even they took a couple months to drop when people wanted something new sooner. I doubt they even have the next characters and stuff planned out. I wonder what there going to do with character abilities and stuff anyway. There’s only so many options in a game like this. This isn’t dbd where it’s just horror in general and so there can be killers with crazy powers because in tcm there just regular old people. Even on the victim side there’s only going to be so many options for victim abilities before they run out or get repetitive. I mean look at dinner bell for hitchhicker and yet the top left of the tree has the option to highlight victims for everyone. Same thing with Nancy and her perk ding dong which makes the sound of traps louder and the highlight area further which again if you just run dinnerbell it’s the same thing but better. Her other unique perk sip sip sip is just surgical but worst. Surgical increases blood from attacking victims by 100% , sip sip sip says it increase blood from melee attacks not as much as surgical does but it also decreases your attack dmg I believe. Again why would you ever go sip sip sip over surgical which is on the same damn side of her tree.
I understand the point of gun. Watching how folks jerked them around, jerked saber around, jerked bhvr around. It's a lot of toxic people and unfortunately the loud hate hits hard and hurts us fans who love something. Maybe Gun will give us some ideas but I understand if they dont also.

Part 2 I need it
I played for a solid 4 or 5 months upon release and just recently revisited it... Toxicity is still heavy in the game. News flash, that's what kills games as well as hacks. Uninstalled it for good.
If the lobby wait times are any indication, it'll be the end. Sad to say since it's a fun game.

I really hope they fix the lobby simulator situation it’s been a thing since forever at this point and it’s extremely annoying and time consuming I believe they are looking into hopefully it comes fast enough !!!
They need to make some serious adjustments asap. Maxed out all characters both victim and family and the game is so victim sided it's not even funny. The amount of bugs and exploits in favor of victims is UNREAL and half the time it feels like I'm not even playing a fully released game. I started maining family after victim got boring because of simply how easy it was and playing family is just straight up TORTURE against ANY victims who have a mild understanding of how the game works. Constant door slamming and knife stabbing and now with Danny tampering the fuse or pressure within a matter of minutes and ending the game or connie instantly picking her way through literally any exit with MINIMAL resistance. I used to love this game but now it's either die of boredom as an overclocked victim with a million tools to use to assure you escape or be door slammed, teabagged, stabbed, or all three at the same time CONSTANTLY.
There is a reason why it takes me 10 seconds to find a game as family and 10 MINUTES or more to find a game as victim.. and it's simply because NOBODY wants to go through the absolute TORTURE that is being family. Family is basically entertainment for victims. Fix the countless bugs, balance the victims, and make the game what it was supposed to be. The Texas chainsaw MASSACRE. Not the teabagging, door slamming, bone knife stabbing, instant escaping abomination that you have created and are already charging people money for with extra content. Absolutley disgusting. I will not be touching this game again until they have yet another HUGE overhall/rework that balances this disgusting mess of bullshit.

Although I love this game I gotta admit it lacks so much. It has so much potential fam … but they aren’t doing shi about it. I'll be honest, If you asked me a month or two ago about TCM Longevity, I'd say YES it still has potential. However now being level 99 with many hours put into it I'm having second thoughts:
I feel that with veteran (and toxic) victim mains they can get out way too easy and there is absolutely no fear for those players which I feel should be an ABSOLUTE for a game like TCM.
To further touch more on the victims, I also do feel their should be heavy stakes, rewards and punishment FOR victims if within the first few seconds of the game one survivor decides they're gonna bum rush the basement, rush the tool box or bone scraps only for a family member to find another survivor not doing any of this and THEY suffer because someone wants to be an ass, ESPECIALLY if that one player has been waiting forever for a lobby to play in just to go out like that- Don't know how to implement it to further suggest victims play that stealth game, but that needs to give.
Another suggestion as far as a game mode goes and it's something I'd LOVE to see implemented in other asymmetrical horror games as well- First Person perspectives for both Killer AND victim. For victim especially it would be terrifying, having the outlast vibes ....
Again I like you could go on, but that's where I stand on it.... I only ONLY HOPE they learn from other studios and what they did wrong with their IP and don't go on the same path they ended up with TCM

The biggest issue is we need grindable stuff to earn or unlock because theres nothing holding us old timers attention anymore. Ive max leveled everything, every character, and there perks. Like wtf.. Give us a reason to keep grinding

Not having a roadmap is a very poorly made decision. Even if you aren’t certain it’s better to communicate with the community at all times. Nowadays people only play games to grind which is unfortunate..However I think it will be nice to add things.. If people stay with tcm until later then the game is gonna be fine.

It just came out in august.also Friday had a lawsuit,it didn't fail.that game was getting millions of views and the player base is still quicker than both Texas and evil dead.i just hope asym games are not gonna be like evil dead,where the plan is "a year of service" then it ends.idk i def have a love hate relationship with texas.alot of time it feels killer sided.each patch survivors keep getting more nerfs and debuffs.they want stealth,but when all of our stealth tactics make noise,how is that stealth?party chat is pointless,people tell u what they've done after they did it
F13th failed because of the lawsuit it never reached its true potential for that reason….I love F13 but that’s just the truth and that isn’t on GUN either just how the cookie crumbled and agree evil dead the game was a big disappointment they had something good I guess they didn’t believe so also stealth is still a viable option and the balancing has been all over the place but that’s expected for the most part
on the lack of a halloween event, im pretty sure one of the Community Reps over at reddit explained it wasnt because it "didnt fit the tone" like so many people over there were giving them grief about,
but more the fact that TCM dropped in mid august, which would have only given the dev team 2 months TOPS (more like 1 and a half months) to make a halloween themed event. And yes you could say that they should have been working on the before launch, but im sure they had other things they were working on at the same time (like the cosmetic packs, execution packs, nancys house map, etc) so its completely understandable why we didnt have a halloween event THIS YEAR, and the comm reps even said that they would forward all requests for a halloween event to the dev team.
Now, if they dont have a halloween event for 2024, then theres very little excuse, because they will have had a year to work on it, but for 2023 i give them a well deserved pass

Next question, what is Halloween? A little harder to answer, but if you take out the historical symbolism and changes its gone through, and focus purely on its modern incarnation as its celebrated by kids and adults, it is a night meant to celebrate all things Scary or Horrifying.
Now can you see what the link between TCM and Halloween is?
If you said "Horror" then youd be right.
Now, at the basest level, i actually agree with you. GUN doesnt owe us anything in the way of any events for anything, ever.
But take a look at it through the perspective of a company.
If you have a widely celebrated day every year, that you KNOW people are actively spending money on around that time of the year, why *wouldnt* you make an event or some other significant ploy to soak up as much money out of that event as possible?

@@idkissausername1667 no shit, it’s a horror movie. No shit, horror correlates to Halloween. Lol you typed all that out to say the most basic things that everybody knows. Again, they aren’t obligated to do anything… just because it’s a horror game doesn’t mean they NEED a “Halloween event” in any way. Just because you think they should capitalize on these events to get more money, doesn’t mean they should or will do it. I believe They are capable, yes. But, in no way, are they obligated to do all that BS. the devs delivered a fun and simple game based on a iconic horror film and they did a great job with it. If they decide to add your silly event idea, cool. If they don’t, also cool. The game is still very fun with or without all the BS like “battle passes” and all the other cringe stuff modern gaming now is infected with such as cat ears, 21 Savage, etc. This is one of the very few games that strays away from that, and that is what makes it great.
A story mode of a sort would be cool. Atleast were getting a Museum mode which will be like the virtual cabin from f13.
For victims I feel like there need to be some new items to freshen up the game and for family Leatherface needs a Rage ability like Jason.
Plus what made friday so fire was calling the cops, shooting jason with the shotgun, killing jason and most importantly calling Tommy Jarvis
For me they should add pocket knifes in tcm. How they differ from boneshards is that the boneshard basically gives you a second life. When youre in the execution animation you use the pocketknife to save yourself.
They did mention adding new escape methods of some sort. So I thought why not mix the calling the cops with a hero attempting to save the victims.
Also killing the family (apart from Leatherface) would be somewhat realistic as they are humans. But I get it why there isnt a way to do that.

Unfortunately this company's track record is very poor for keeping games alive. I really want to know why it's them only who get the rights to all these popular IPs and no one else. I suppose no one else wants to compete with DBD or make asymm gameplay these days, which is a shame.

All I’m saying is if I’m paying $10 for ONE character I think more care needs to be put in it personally. Hair physics isn’t important for every character but Connie definitely needs them

I think Gun. has their heart in the right place and are very talented/creative but.. I don’t think they are competent enough to make anything other than just a single player game. I honestly think Gun. needs new management because Wes can be prideful/stubborn and a bit of a naive pushover.
After maxing out Nancy, I just got bored of the game since there is little cosmetic to earn or rewards incentive to keep on playing and seeing no new contents makes me not wanting to continue playing as there is no point to it whether I win or lose which only boost exp for abilities and player levels and that's mostly it.
Remember the creators said they are still working on single player mode so at least one more huge update maybe two because I believe they have another map coming.

I feel like there should be some slight colour pallets in the game for the family.
Not like neon green leatherface,
But instead of his white shirt and blue pants, they could do Red pants and a Browner shirt.
This could give family mains something to grind for and It’s probably not hard for gun and sumo to make.
Like under each family member, there could just be a colour palette button,
Which opens a small menu that Has colours. Kind of like the new mortal kombat!

Yeah they definitely need more cosmetics and even just color swatch changes would be something good however with how they went with the victims outfit sets I doubt they’ll do it for free. All the victims clothes are just recolors but they charged for them. They really need to spice up the clothes some more like damn I know they want to stick more realistically but damn even back in those days they had more damn clothes that weren’t just so plain. Give us some suits for some of the other guy characters, give us some different dresses for sissy and add dresses for victims. I really wanted some hippy themed outfits as well because it fits for the time and wouldn’t look to crazy in game. I understand they don’t want the same as f13 because in this case they weren’t just camping at a lake when a killer popped up and instead there looking for there missing friend so I don’t expect to see them in damn Halloween costumes and bathing suits but still they need to get a bit more creative and add clothes that fit the decade.
What’s a Road map
A road map is what devs release to the public to let everyone know when to expect DLC content/events/updates etc some have very specific dates and some doesn’t but over all roadmaps still gives you an idea on when to expect new things coming to the game

on the family side I would like to see more variarity of weapons for new characters. Maybe an archer class to shoot arrows or a whip with some range.
Example:
Uncle jessie . his weapon is a whip and his expertise is lassoing fleeing victims which brings them down for a few seconds.
Cousin Betty: an alligator wrangler from Florida. her weapon is machette and her special ability is set lose up to 3 alligators that roam around in an area patroling and chasing after vitrims should they get close enough , victims need a stake to stun the gator which triggers a yellow marker. if a marker wants to be avoided then kitting the gator while another victim handles the objectives is a good strategy to follow.
Victim idea:
James: James is Connie's professor that came looking for her after finding her note.
His ability is creating decoys that are cut out that look like victims from far. they spring up after a few seconds of being set. these can be used to draw the family away and confuse the family.

I don’t want this game to die but that’s what it looks like it’s headed. Like I said in all your other videos, I just can’t play the game. It get old real quick. Basically every thing you touch on is the reason why I haven’t played since the month it drop…. The game came out incomplete to me.
