Educational content can be overwhelming, but this video really eased many nerves with its direct simplistic nature. I feel more equipt and directed finishing the last year of my undergrad and moving into a company making the most impactful difference, much appreciated Jay!

I now have 2 years of experience in retail banking at Bank of America, after graduating. Do you think my years of working for T-Mobile carry enough weight to have a shot at top MBA programs in the country?

the vast majority of people will not be able to get above 700 on the GMAT, someone that's so gifted and has obviously studied a lot in his life to already be so fast and well prepared for the math etc. telling people that it's THAT easy... is like Usain Bolt telling you if you just practice a bit systematically you WILL hit the olympics... you are absolutely amazing at taking standardized tests my man you scored better than 99/100 dedicated people with a college degree from around the world.
But most people are not people who apply to top tier business schools. I think for anyone who thrives in a competitive intellectual environment, the GMAT should be the least of their application worries
You mentioned the Navy Seal in your MBA. Is it Joel Johnson? That man is truly truly wonderful.

Hey John! Just wondering what undergrad major do they like to see, I’m planning on doing finance with a emphasis in fintech which is just some classes from the CS curriculum with a heavy emphasis in python. Do you believe that is good?
This reminds me of a excerpt from "On writing the college application essay." You shouldn't be thinking of what they want from you. They don't discriminate, like john pointed out in this video. Go back to 4:00 and take a look at all the industries listed. They aren't looking at a rubric going, " well he's not cs", or, " I don't like that he's not in finance." It's a 'holistic' viewing of your story, your resume, your experience, and why you think that business school is right for you. :))) hope that helps

Yes definitely Diego! Any extracurricular or non profit experience adds to your differentiation as a candidate! Highly recommend being “interesting” in a notable way

I am now 43 years old and I work as an architect. I have a master’s degree in business administration- (MBA) and I would very much like to get a phd at this age. Is this crazy or what?
Hey John ! I’m a surgeon who’s planning to apply for an mba . How much of a role does having a GRE score instead of GMAT effect my chances of getting into a great program .
P.S-I’m an international postgraduate
GRE is totally okay if you crushed it! And being a surgeon is super differentiated! Best of luck! Let me know how it goes!
