The colour of the table made it a little difficult to see the line sometimes. This is very similar set up to rigs I used to tie for cod. I found cod liked the white colour so I cut lures from plastic disposable cups you could get at the time and used slightly larger hooks. Usually 2/0
Thanks for watching. Yes I have learnt to use a darker background or things like that. I have used those mackerel rigs with a bit of fish for catching whiting.
The main rig line is 60lb and the hook snoods are 25lb. The hooks are size 1/0. I always use 60lb for the main rig body, as there are knots tied in it. This slightly reduces the breaking strain to about 50lb (Still strong enough) to cast 3 or 4oz leads 👍

What size fishing line is on your rig that is in the plastic bag that you showed that you had already had tied what pound test line is that thank you
