The phenomenal Mme. Caballe- I am so glad that she sang this role, I only with that she had done so 20 years earlier! This is a great opera that should be mounted by the major opera companies who have the resources to do it justice. Thank you for posting this beautiful example of Mme. Caballe's art.

J'avais laissé un bref commentaire il y a deux ans. Depuis, Caballé a continué sa carrière, et en réecoutant cet air, je me dis que vraiment elle aurait s'arrêter avec cet opéra. C'était blessé, mais digne ô combien, alors que tous ces concerts depuis 4 ou 5 ans blessent notre amour pour elle. Montserrat, pas la tounée d'adieux des 80ans!! Pourquoi pas 90 pendant que vous y êtes!!!
