My brother from BrisVegas I salute you. Yes drum heavy classics like KORN are always welcome. I am well aware your tutorials must cover a wide range of tastes and I think that's excellent. I can only speak for myself but I'm quite confident your other subscribers would HEARTILY AGREE with the following bands for tutorials. Dire straits, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, The Offspring, Blink182, Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, MegaDeth, Led Zeppelin, The WHO, Police, Phil Collins, David Bowie, INXS, Rob Zombie, Queen, George Thorogood, Boston, etc etc. I believe there are also a SLEW of 70s and 80s one hit wonders that absolutely rock out on drums. In my opinion there is a MASSIVE hole in the RUclips market for a drum channel DEDICATED to song tutorials. There really isn't many good ones or many comprehensive ones. I believe YOU can become the premier leader in this RUclips field. Im also aware this is a time consuming undertaking. Anyway Thank you very much.
Thanks for the lesson brother, very helpful and awesome tune to nail down .. I noted in the tune there is actually 2 hat sizzles in the bang for you buck pre-chorus sections. Those little embellishment sizzles and splashes details in the verses make it all the more tasty play. 😁
Hey man, thank you so much, this is the best drum lessons chanel ever, i learnt my first song from you, was otherside by RHCP I really appreciate your videos.
you have paypal or something?! you give us so much and you need to be compensated for that! Your lessons are the best on RUclips! Hands down!!! You show the parts with so much detail, and also with the right speeds!
Would love to know what the kit setup is like for this one. Love the sound of the snare. I've just been using the heavy metal kit on the TD17 KVX but would love to get it sounding similar.
i was wondering if you could please do "ready to go" by panic at the disco. there's some fun 16th note patterns. thanks so much bro you're super awesome ❤
Brother, thoughts on the Alesis strike pro2? For around $4000 Aussie dollars you get the whole kit and caboodle literally. Is there a reason you chose this Roland kit? (what model are you using?) I own the Alesis entry level Nitro Mesh. Its cheap as chips and tiny and I hate it. BUT I have kicked the LIVING SHITE out of it (4 hours a day for 2 years) and its still plays perfect. Sounds amazing with EZ drummer 2. Top of the line Roland is $13,000 AUD. For 10K Aussie Roland only give you 3 toms! wtf is that! I want your opinion as I need to upgrade. Should I get the top of the line Alesis or mid to low level Roland? Give it to me straight. Are Roland kits really that well engineered?
Great questions! I haven’t had enough hands on experience with the Alesis stuff to properly comment. My local drum shop stopped stocking them because they had a lot coming back in with triggering issues, but if you’ve had such a great run with yours then maybe that’s not a problem for you. The Roland stuff IS good, but you do pay for it $$$. And even then it’s not impenetrable. I’ve had to replace my hi hats and I’ve played on an older TD 20 and a TD 50 as house kits at venues and after a few years of abuse they have triggering issues and stuff too. So personally I don’t think I could justify $10k on a top model electric kit, and I would assume both brands are decent at $4000. BUT I’m playing a TD17 KV and you could almost get two of that model for that kind of money… so there’s a few things to weigh up. Hope it helps!
Your lessons are amazing thank you!!! Please can you cover by the way - Red Hot Chili Peppers and rockstar by N.E.R.D That’ll be greatly appreciated!!!.
WOW they stopped stocking them! Thats terrible isn't it. Yes Alesis does have a bit of bad reputation. But as you said even the Rolands have the exact same problems but I assume at lower %. You had to replace your hats on your new kit already?
I’ve had the kit 2 and a bit years... And it’s done loads of practice, lessons and gigs too. AND the TD17 KV only comes with a CY5 hi hat which is a pretty basic pad. It hung in there long enough, and I would buy Roland again when the time comes 👍
The thumbnail is the best thing i've ever seen in my life
Awesome lesson bro! keep up the great work 😎

Never liked the song. I'll try it though as it seems easy.
