This video will show you the best way to learn how to up shift a 10 speed Truck. Driving a manual truck is very important to have a CDL. Many Trucks today still have manual transmissions. In order to do it correctly you must have the Proper Training from the best driving school in New Jersey. Driving Academy uses simulation technology to get people read to drive a 10 speed manual. This video will go over the proper foot work for a to up shift properly. - Развлечения

AWEESOME TEACHER !

Excellent! I really appreciate this video, because I'm training in Connecticut at NETTTS. And they teach stick only, because they don't want us to have Restrictions on our license but the countries being so cheap. They're stopping stick altogether, so I don't see the point now.
We're glad our video could be of use to you! Stick shifting is definitely starting to phase out - but just in case it's not bad to avoid a restriction on your license. Thanks for watching!
Thank you!!
Am learning and I'm enjoying the course
Thank you! Give us a call at 908.525.3609 so we can answer all your questions about CDL license. We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 1pm.
In some trucks like the Volvo I drive, you don't even need to "Half Clutch It". The Volvo BARELY and I mean BARELY needs a half inch to one inch depression for the shifter to move out and in to gear. Any more than an inch and you might as well clutch brake it. All trucks are different for sure......."VOLVOS" A love-hate relationship hahaha..... THANKS FOR THE VIDS!!!👍
ABQ ENTREPRENEUR How is your Volvo during steep grade driving? My current CDL instructor talks down on them and says that they are not that reliable. But that is just his opinion. I was looking at the newer Volvo trucks for when I start working as an owner and operator but I keep getting mixed opinions.
I love the explaining but I want to know when you going up a hill how you should shift for that show please
I really appreciate the way you teach, for you leave no stone unturned, thank you so much but my question is, when I am currently running at high speed gear number ten, and begin to downshift for speed reduction all the way to completely stop the truck, do I really need or have to downshift from ten to one ??
Thanks , professional
Thank you my dear for your nice video I want to be a truck driver female thank you so much amazing video continue to show us more videos
Thank you!
God bless u sir.
U r the best...I understood this within minutes wow
Thank you so much! I'm glad I could explain it in a way that was easy to understand for you. What did you love most about this video?
@@CDLDrivingAcademy you gave a very detailed explanation with virtual evidence. How it's done word by word. I'm addicted to your old videos on truck driving now thanks to you 😁💓.
Thank video
U are the best
U r the best
I wonder if all truck's gear box are this smooth because I was in a international truck with a 7 spd just to see what it would feel like and boy I tell you it felt as if there were no bracket holding the shiftier. I didn't know if I were in 1st or 4th. It was all over the place
I will give you a hint. Before you start the engine, find out where the shift springs are. It will be sprung into Reverse and Low gear. Is it sprung into 2nd? 3rd? 6th? 7th? Once you find out it will be much simpler, and you will not get lost again. It's just that easy!
great video I went out first time yesterday could not shift at all you are much better than my instructors thanks for making this
Thank you! We are the best school around!
Driving Academy | Car and CDL Truck Driving School say I’m going from 4th to 5th ...... is neutral down from 4th .... or do i bring the shifter down and over to the middle ?
The best thank youu
he makes it look so easy.
With the right training everything is easy
Awesome
thanks for great video and easy training
Where to hit the splitter? From this video 6:11 it looks like you are hitting the splitter while driving in fifth gear before clutch. My thought is you would clutch 5th gear, move to neutral, hit splitter, clutch and move to 6th gear, gas. Great set of videos showing on how to shift a 10 speed.
Well now I found this piece of interesting info that seems to say the same:
www.roadranger.com/rr/ProductsServices/ProductsbyCategory/Transmissions/PCT_308991#tabs-3
this is very interesting !!! but can you explain to me why I must to let in clutch twice ? thank you very much
This transmission is non synchronized. That means that the driver must control the sifting and not the truck
Simple. It is called rev matching. You must find the correct RPM in neutral with the clutch out, and then clutch it into the next gear. It is very fast and it needs to be muscle memory. Practice on a truck with the engine off. Veteran drivers do this by not using the clutch to shift. In other words the clutch is out while they wait for the RPM to drop. It is very fast, and you should use a light hand, so you will not damage the transmission. At this point you are not ready for "floating" so keep on practicing your double clutching until you have it mastered. And then....
Usually if I enter the curve at highway then drop down 1 gear and let go of the clutch and press the gas right?
Double clutch with half clutch is hard to wrap your feet around but it eventually becomes second nature, especially down shifting (ugh) :)
Never mind "half clutch". If I push it at all, I will only push it one inch. Half the time I will not even separate the clutch plates, so that is "floating". When you achieve that, it is magic, and you can fly. Have fun!
I pretty much mastered downshiffting before I caught on with upshiffting. To me it was easier because downshiffting seems to be a little slower process, IDK. Maybe it's just me.
😁😅Brilliant. Ty
