    Hey! I am Pierre-Christian Brochet. I am French and for 25 years I have been crossing that huge country called Russia. What thrills me the most is the richness and variety of the cultures which are spread across the territory. That’s what I’m going to tell you about in very short films that portray one of the many faces of Russia’s cultures.
    Today I will tell you about the Tuva Republic. The harmony between nature and culture is what touches me the most in Tuva. Their customs and traditions: Khuresh, the throat singing, horse racings, and everywhere these sacred natural places covered with multi-colored pieces of fabric all of this gives a feeling of spirituality.
    Spirits seem to be still here, everywhere, even in the endless steppe with these remnants of tumulus.
    Meeting with the culture of Tuva, it is the feeling of complete change of horizons.

      The Manchus (Qing) never referred to their homeland as "Manchuria", it was first used by the Japanese in the 19th century as part of their plan to separate it from China. It was known as "Jianzhou" during the Ming dynasty hence their name "Jianzhou Jurchens" , and as "Guandong" or "Guanwai" during the Qing dynasty, later on as "Three Northeast Provinces".
      The Qing rejected the notion that China only refers to the tradtional Han territories aka "China proper" and that Chinese only means Han, it referred to itself as "Zhongguo" i.e. China, and the first use in formal internationl documents appeared as early as 1689 in the "Treaty of Nerchinsk" with Russia.

Kazakh/Kyrgyzstan and Mongolian try to emulate theirs rulers, because the Silk Road had many merchants (Arab/Chinese/Hindu😕gypsy indo europeans). The lengua franca was Iranian and Turkish. Hittites way of prayers or ancestry Veneration are very similar to the Scythians, Phrygians, and Komi/mansi/Mari/kets. Also i DONT think Scythians,cimmerians, and others dont seem to be indo european. Europeans try to claim things yet the word europe is a non european word. Western Europe assume, they are a race, but they are not. They only claim to be a race because of certain recessive genes, yet they should know that non Europeans lived before europeans and some of those recessive genes may have come from these non indoeuropeans.

      Tuvans were subjects of the Uyghur Khaganate during the 8th and early 9th centuries AD. The Uyghurs established several fortifications within Tuva as a means of subduing the population. The Uyghur Khaganate was overthrown in 840 AD by a rebellion of the Yeniseian Kyrgyz who came from the upper reaches of the Yenisei. During this period, some Uyghurs were absorbed into Tuvan society. The Kirgiz ruled Tuva until the 13th century.

    Interesting ethnological story however it appears that the Tuvan culture is more akin to the Mongolian cultural traditions than the Chinese, for the mere fact that they were nomadic, and their music is similar to the Mongolians. The throat singing in particular is also Mongolian. You have neglected to mention that the Tuvan are direct descendants of the Golden Hordes, their ancestors were none other than Kublai Khan and Ghengis Khan. Their empire stretched throughout China to the Russian Steppes to Modern Russia, Ukraine bordering Poland. The Tatars are their kinfolk. The Crimean Tatars are their kin. The Tuvan are great horsemen and horseback archers. The most revealing cultural traits of the Golden Hordes that the European Knights feared. The only weakness of the Tuvan ancestors was their inability to construct siege weapons and combat engineering to conquer European Castles and fortifications. Otherwise, the Eurasians would have conquered all of Europe. No European Knight or peasant soldier could match the Mongol and Tatar horseback warrior. The Tuvan is the manifestation of the mighty Golden Horde. Sergey Shoigu the Russian Minister for Defense and the most powerful Russian General is a Tuvan.

    • @MB-rb9tk
      @MB-rb9tk 2 года назад

      What is this ramble? The reason their culture is identical to Mongolian is because they were a part of Mongolia for centuries before being annexed by Russia. They are mongol essentially. There is no context of Tuvans being mentioned in history either, so the part with the Golden Horde etc makes no sense.

По крайней мере таблица y-гаплогруппы показывает что монгольская гаплогруппас C слабораспространена среди тувинцев, и чаще встречается только в Кызылском кожууне. Тувинцы культурно похожи на монголов, потомучто были частью орды.

Look at the stucco figures and the inscriptions of the Turks by Persians and Arabs. Also we have the racial features called Turkic moon face - "high cheek bones, small eyes". If I look at the Turkic tribes like Oğuz, Kipchak, Karluk, so on many have Central Asian features of their ancestors still today. And there is a connection of central asian Turks and Mongols. Before we got the identities "Türük" and "Mongol" we used to call ourselves Xiongnu. And the most important thing is, we "Turks" identify with our tribes.
