I have a question
What do your people think about Iran or Persia?!
Because I am Iranian and as you may know(but I don't know what Russians tell you about your history in schools) your land was a part of greater Iran and you are descendants of Iranian ancestry
But I am curious about modern-day Daghestani and Chechen people and what they think about Iran

Rasul Gamzatov’s book “Dagestan” brought me here. I was fascinated by Gamzatov’s description of people and rocky mountains of Dagestan. I read about the honorable history of Imam Shamil, may Allah bless his soul. I was introduced to a lot of Dagestani traditions and sayings. The most important, I learned that “Dag”means the mountain, and “stan” means the land, so Dagestan means “mountains land”.
