- The Venturi Fertilizer Injector Setup in Detail
for those of you who are interested in setting up or hooking up your Venturi Fertilizer Injector to your well-pumps irrigation systems, I am giving an explanation of what you need and how it's done.
I am using the Venturi Fertilizer Injector to fertilize my entire garden and permaculture landscaping. this can be hooked up to a hose spigot and hose or well pump. it's called a Venturi Fertilizer Injector, when hooked up it created a vacuum and sucks out the Fertilizer from a bucket, and sends Fertilizer to each plant in your garden. this sure beats hand fertilizing. hand fertilizing used to take me around two hours a day, now I can simply turn on my pump and go do what I enjoy doing (Gardening)

That ball indicator is called as rotameter
yes, but I just call it flow control as that is what it does.
We are using venturi in greenhouses. But in many venturi does not work properly. At the beginning it sucks fertilizer but within seconds it stop suction. Somes water come back through the venturi to the fertilizer bucket. What could be the issue and how we going to sort it out. Thank you
Hi Akila, that is caused by a lack of water flow which creates the suction. You need to make sure your venturi size is the proper size for your water flow. you also need to use a pressure gauge and reduce the outflow by 25%. all this comes into play if you are losing suction.
I made two of these for my raised beds. I have them attached to digital hose timer. They both seem to siphon water from my bucket but when the water turned off the water flows out of the siphons tube.
I dont have the 2 ball valves on the sides is that necessary?
Also do you keep your water on?
To be clear my set up is in this order from the water source:
Anti siphon valve
Venturi siphon
Drip filter
Drip timer

What should be the size of the fertilizer injector compared to well pump pipe?
it does not go by the size of the pipe, it goes by the water flow pressure. I would call up the dealer's tech support and speak with them to help you. it is better to go smaller than larger because if you go larger you may not have enough si8cktion and it won't work at all. hope this helps.

Never works the Venturi, many video s showing it, and many comments. saying It does not work
some do not use it properly. you need to have two pressure gauges on it AND you need to make sure you have the right size Venturi Fertilizer Injector for your piping and pressure along with the amount of drip emitters etc. if you do not the suction will be off.
@@TheFrugalHugelGardener Cheers mate The gauge pressure difference ought be 25-50% depends the website, reddit, source... For the time being I have not found a table with the whole. information, Issues are dripping points, pressure, pipe distance, size etc... But this information has not been offered full. There are a lot of videos saying Venturi works. fine, for the time being. no one shows all the problems how to be solve, or a manual Maybe must be me the one who solve it. and share with the rest Cheers anyhow
@@fjsy77dmekd I have posted the settings that I use. you can call tech support at Irrigation King dot com for the proper injecter to match your pressure, pumping and emitter heads. there is no one size fits all.
@@fjsy77dmekd When playing with the pressure, if you have a float on it like I do, you will see the water suction flow by the little floating ball inside the glass.
@@TheFrugalHugelGardener I found a video from Irrigacion Delta, Southamerica. company explaining pressure, so pressure meters are mandatory, if the Venturi. is not working (I tried 2 different models and brands)
Many videos show a key to open and close the water and somehow, be able to control. the water flow and pressure.
This system works based I 3 things as far as I have understood for the time being:
if the pressure. of the pump
and diameter of the pipe
and the size. of the Venturi
All this 3 need to match, and not always they do.
Those are the reasons the Venturi will not suck but expelled. water
In fact the Venturi size. do not know yet if need to match the main pipe, 32mm or 2 inches or the secondary pipe., a bit smaller in diameter.
Si, 3 keys, 1 for main pipe and 2 for secondary pipes, 1 inlet of the Venturi and 1 outlet of the Venturi. might be needed.
The pressuremeters are mandatory to know the presurre needed, cause using a Venturi for 2 Inches might not work
