Terry were you surprised to see Bonzo had 2 crashes on the left side of the bass drum in the new Vienna 73 video? I did not know he ever used that set up.

Ah yes- 2 crash left and 2 crash right. A couple 2002s with the GBs. That’s when a 16” 2002 was around.

Recently heard Ginger Baker saying he had more swing than Bonzo, how dare him! He didnt say it so nicely...Did those two meet up in a bad way, hehe! Bonzo sure played the blues about as good as could be. Not to criticize either, they both seemed very distinctive in their craft!

Ah yes- Baker said Bonham couldn’t swing a bag of Quinn The Eskimo’s excrement. But of course those in the know know otherwise.
That said, Baker was indeed an innovative mojo-laden drummer of high caliber.
