    Thanks for going through the procedure. As a new CEO I'm now blessed with the job of anchoring these things and it isn't something I want to mess up.

    Good times, I used to run 3 athanors on high sec before the update that took out the ores from moon mining
    Always did max days pull, was nice the whole local coming to mine, good from max pulls was the gigantic gneiss and spod rocks LOL

      I used to have like 30+ lowsec moon mining pos back before citadels made moon mining active rather than passive. I miss my 20b profit a month :(

    Good info. I wondered how this worked. Doing it on the Test Server is a great idea. Any of us can do that, to get a better idea how it works.

    What’s the total cost setup? My medium sized corp is wanting to do this just wanting to get a idea.

    Would love to have my own structure in space. I have tried it in the past but being by myself, the structures always got attacked and destroyed.
    Shame because I would rely like my own to call home :)

    "Deploying a structure is a lot easier than taking one down". This is true of a well defended structure with a healthy PvP alliance(or merc contract) supporting it. You stating this from the perspective of making ISK while not being in an alliance is painting the wrong picture about deploying structures in highsec. If you drop a citadel just anywhere and you aren't in an alliance, you WILL be wardec'd and you won't have time to remove the structure before they reinforce it.

    Question :v, if i deployed my Own Upwell Structure to the corp that im in, does the CEO of the corp have the ability to Unanchor my Upwell Structure ?
    and if the CEO suddenly disband the corp, what happened to my deployed Upwell Structure ?

  • @johnb6011
    @johnb6011 2 года назад +8

    I understand the principal being the upwell cores...but I think they went about it the wrong way A) it should never have been a seeded item, make the cores player built, the ISK sink runs out pretty fast after initial implementation cores are just being traded around. B) Nothing in eve should be a 100% drop rate, a high drop rate yes, but nothing should be guaranteed. If you take those steps and set the drop rate at like 75% and either make cores player built OR seeded for 60% the current value of the structure I think they would have been met with a better crowd. You provide a potential reward and motivation for taking them down but also not one that turns the structure into a giant loot pinata as it is currently. Take a Raitaru for example, it has horrible defence capabilities so you would expect the core to be cheaper than an Astrahus that can defend itself better yes? Nope its more expensive. The core will set you back 800 mil vs the cost of a hull which at the moment is around 550. Who wants to stick a liability on their station that is greater than the cost of the hull? Thats a bit like flying PLEX in your cargo bay valued twice the cost of the ship, you are just asking to be ganked. I used to have structures but I guess I wont until they make some serious changes to the broken core system.

    How viable is it to do/use this as a solo with 2 accounts? Risky?
    The idea is I want to produce my own moon stuff for some FW things and the Indy in me wants to make it all myself. But is it really viable for me to do that?

    • @JAKEL33T
      @JAKEL33T  2 года назад +2

      not really, you could open comms with a local corp and see if you can moon mine their pops for a price.

    Lol it is not safe to drop one in HS,easy to do keeping it will be another thing.CCP has decided that small corps should not use them.

    • @anthonyzullo
      @anthonyzullo 2 года назад +2

      You can always contact the diploma of a sov and see if you cam work out a deal for them to place a structure and call your own, rent through a sov holding Corp that way if someone DOES attempt to war Dec you they will end up war deccing and entire sov and no ones going to just do that lol. But I'm a bit confused because I havnt seen any HS structures getting bashed in a really long time. Not in HS that is but I'll check out ZKB maybe I'm just so into my own things to notice lol

    • @IIMarbleII
      @IIMarbleII 2 года назад +2

      Feels weird that they are shafting small corps, especially after saying that astrahus, athanor, raitaru will be completely replacing poses, removing those and now making it mildly impossible to keep a citadel if you're not big

    • @JAKEL33T
      @JAKEL33T  2 года назад +3

      Medium structures got the shaft for sure. For moon mining athanors are more cost efficient then a tatara

    Infuriatingly bad video, skips over many important parts a newbie might be interested in like the fit, filled with fluff and waste of time, "...and everything".
