I first saw your video five or six years ago and I like to get back to it every once in a while. It has made this poem my favorite, not just of Poe, in general, because of the way Dan Seaman declaims it and I cannot read it myself without his interpretation in mind. I really thank everyone who helped to make it because it is one of my favorite video on youtube.
@@BryanMatuskey Each year so far. Watching it again. They think it's boring until I play them this video afterwards. I like to hand out paper and let them write their feelings while listening to it.
That means a lot to know. Thank you for sharing. This poem never made it through to me until I heard Dan Seaman give a performance that brought me to tears. I'm glad he was willing and interested to work with me on this. Hope seeing this helps others hear it better :)
Brilliant, Bryan. Truly. The only gripe I have is her makeup at 2:40. Otherwise a seriously solid performance by all cast and crew. (because honestly, the crew perform as well.)

Handsome voice, but reading betrays being based on utter lack of understanding of Poe's message (not to speak of distracting imagery). For a radical corrective, see ruclips.net/video/AVNyTsVuYws/видео.html
It was Dan Seaman's read that made everything in this project special to me and it is what inspired me to make these distracting images and music that fall so very short of his performance.
The poem inspired the read, the read inspired the images and music... what's not to like about art that creates more art, eh Bryan? Life is too short to get bogged down in criticism... thanks for feeling the inspiration my friend😁@@BryanMatuskey
