- HEADesigns has updated it's excellent Antidote and Poison EDC pocket knives with the new Venom and Elixir. Both feature a milled, sculpted, and contoured titanium handle, with S3VN spearpoint blades. These framelock flippers have smoother action and a lighter lock disengagement than the prior models. These fidget-able pieces of pocket jewelry are compared to other HEAdesigns including the falcon, the Hunter, and good edc knives from other manufacturers like the Benchmade 940-1, the Spyderco Para 3, and the Para Military 2. The Blue lines, tallnesess', and penchant to baton the quiet evenings away for the neighbors delight are perfect. Batoning with a cardboard baton is one reason why I keep watching. The other is your mastery of twisted, flowery prose. And Morgan Fairchild was an 70's vixen, as I'm sure you know by now. And, like you, Mr. AdvancedKnifeBro, I eschew the tanto-style blade, as I'm not an anime-bro.

To be fair, the nude Morgan Fairchild tattoo was a cover up for the nude Morgan Freeman tattoo.
A little known fact is that Morgan Fairchild actually did all of Morgan Freeman's stunts in The Shawshank Redemption.
The Freeman Tattoo was no doubt a cover up for the spice rum racist Captain Morgan. 3rd time's a charm.

I prefer the Ratt to the Poison, but not as much as the Styx.
The Styx is vastly superior in every way - perfect for the Blue Collar Man with Too Much Time On His Hands. It's the one knife I would grab on my way out the door to Come Sail Away.

Aesthetic wise, both these knives are very similar to the NOC knives chef folder. I recommend it to you like a year ago
Ok a point of order- the poison which I reviewed back in 2017 doesn’t look anything like the NOC. About the closest looking knife I reviewed to the NOC is the Dao from Ferrum Forge.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro to be more specific I am referring to the DT03 the blade and handle shape are completely different but the titanium handle has a similar color finish and has milled or molded ridges that make the knife look vaguely like a circuit board or kind of “futuristic”

Have you tried out the Spyderco Tropin? I am too lazy to look. It has a dark side that will bite you once in a while but its design stands alone. I love mine.
I bet you can file your nails on the grooved handle surface. Where's the rest of the set? The matching titanium tweezers and nail clippers? (Truly a toiletry-gift-set kind of knife.)

What camera upgrades are you considering?
Probably a Panasonic gh5/s/II to stay in MFT mount. Might consider a bm 4K, but then again I don’t like the screen that doesn’t flip around. All these are shot with manual lenses so I need a good positionable screen for focus pulling

I don't shoot much anymore, I light for a living and most the cameras I see are worth more than my house, but if I learned one thing as a cinematographer, "bodies die, glass is forever". I love my Leica glass. Rolling shutter isn't as atrocious as the a7s ii or bmpcc, not that you do all these run and gun handheld, wimp. (just kidding, planting good sticks with a nice fluid head > iPhone cinematography any day of the week.)
P.S. blackmagic sensors are like budget RED in my eyes. High resolution packed in a junk censor with a mediocre codec.

Why am I about to buy one of these
I dont own many blades, but I do look around some for the "end game" one. Cant seem to find it thou. Always something that makes it "not perfect" Why cant a company just make a perfect sized, perfectly designed knife with good materials for a price that doesnt force me to sell one of my kids to afford it ? What I have now are a few moras, a mini griptilian and one I got as gift on the wedding for my brother in law, with my named engraved in the handle (probably made out of chineseium)

Mr. Bro, you did kill the graphic designers but not the design itself. The other blue lines have retained me to represent them as a union negotiator and here in my country this means we must enter into negotiations. 6 inch is particularly powerful and noted that it is useful both in overall length on 3 inchers and blade length on.. well... 6 inchers. If you do not negotiate we will form our own channel called FairBlue, er, BlueTube, in protest. We advise you to not bring in strikebreakers like red lines as we are not sure you want to be labeled as RedTube... although you would appreciate the money such a move would bring.
