If troop was drunk off 50 5th's of Tequilla and was tied up they would still smoke New Edition dancing and singing wise and they didn't sound like chipmunks.
This group was a major threat to New Edition. They were more talented. to make a long story short the record company screwed them over. They've never recovered. They were basically bankrupt
@james jordan I know everything about New Edition. I grew up listening to them. Without Johnny Gill, Troop was more talented. They also write and produce. Steve Russell has been writing and producing for years. Steve and Allen in their prime were way better vocalists than Ricky, Bobby, and Ralph. Stronger voices and range. When NE added Johnny that was the game changer because no one in both groups can sing better than Johnny Gill, but remove JG, Troop was more talented. New Edition had way better MANAGEMENT, Promoting, and record deals. They also had The hottest producers on their albums. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis just to name one. That makes a huge difference

Troop was definitely talented and yes they were some fine brothers to look at every girl had a favorite guy but there were some who really loved all of them ❤️❤️.

One of my fav groups. This song is one of my favs and the moves!!!! I still love Allen ever Since I was 5..from snack to full course meal honey 😍 They are still performing.

@@markelrankins6394 I forgot the name of it was the late 80's early 90's the little boy I had a crush on in elementary school had a high top fade with the braided tail on it I told him he stole it from troop because they were the first guys I saw rocking the look I'm sure plenty of other guys including you were going by the same trend it was the style to have then I was probably like 5 or 6 😁😁.
Are you serious? This was one of the best groups of the '90's , 2000's! You are very hard pressed to beat those dance moves.

Please do not make anything deeper than what it is. It was just a compliment. New Edition is one of my favorite male groups and around this time of recording everyone was talking about them because of their movie. To see a group do as well as my favorite group is exciting. I would say the same exact thing about a white group if I was watching them. I don’t know about you but I love myself and my black people.
