I was really amazed at that first key change, kept listening till I figured they used triplets to make the transition. The other key changes were all different rhythms though, soooo good

I love both this channel and Japanese City pop but the first thing that caught my eye and made me wat to click is Shaqdi in the thumbnail she is a whole vibe and I'm here for it

I think understanding the lyrics would give more dimension and character to a song, I wish I could but some songs you can see the lyrics on English, when you understand it it's more like the song is telling you a story

Only Japanese music, I have been exposed to was Japanese jazz. This playlist is like finding a gold mine. Amazing. Please make a second Japanese funk/soul playlist.

I'm Japanese, and I like Japanese funk of this era, but from the first song, there was a wonderful song that I didn't know, and it was the best encounter. I like this kind of music that is gentle but fun and exciting.
It's fun to get to not only enjoy the great selection but also to get to appreciate the craft that goes into making it and the fun you're having in the room!

07:12 I can't get over how much the intro of Momoko Kikuchi's" Ocean Side" sounds like the intro of Anri's "Windy Summer." I actually had to go to discogs to see if they were both produced by Toshiki Kadomatsu (they're not.) Ocean Side was also released 2 years after Anri's Timely!!
