Today, I wanted to share with you all the vendor recipe I use to make easy Exalts (especially earlier in the league and when exalts are expensive like now). I hope you enjoy and learn something!

Yeah but it is way much easy to craft influenced rings with harvest "caster" craft and getting 3ex-ish for just one ring
Btw for higher level amulets u can turn them into onyx with the vendor recepi and sometimes they are worth more then 4 ex shards.

Hey could you explain what you mean? Are you Vendoring influenced amulets and get back an influenced onyx amulet that's worth more?

@@kylebusc3624 You vendor an amulet of any kind with a Green, Blue and Red Skill Gem and you get back a white(I think?) Onyx amulet (with the same influence, itemlevel, etc.)

The fact that you can’t harvest craft influenced bases is what made this suddenly more viable. You can also use shaper or elder scarabs. You can also go to the atlas part that you need to unlock in the middle and it has 25% more influenced items on there as well 👍🏻
Combining these with shaper/elder scarabs is just pure genius! I am gonna start throwing a shaper or elder base next time I spam maps! Can't wait to test this out in my next mapping session

the reasonS that nobody talks about this are as following:
1. most ppl rather shoot themsleves in the foot instead of basically needing to store each influence in a different tab and keep track of what is where.
2. most ppl want to ID those items because even only 1 MOD of influenced item is pottentially worth at least 30c for those wanting to use awakener orb so the max you would get from the recepie.
3. quuite a few influenced bases of ilvl 80+ is worth 10+c
4. see reason #1
Heisters can use trinket with "1% chance in Heists for Items to drop with Elder Influence" or "1% chance in Heists for Items to drop with Shaper Influence", if they don't farm anything specific.
1% is a lot in Heist, the game is bloated with item drops, so this 1% can get you 4 to XX influenced items per contract. Small boxes may drop jewelery which can turn into influenced item, so it's easier to get full set, because amulets/belts/rings are the rarest.
Reminder that some items with specific item base/ilvl with influence may be more valuable than using it as a part of ex shard recipe. So don't use ex shard vendor recipe with a 20c ilvl84 Hunter Influenced amulet.
This is a great tip, and definitely one of a few ways to farm the hell out of this!
As stated, it's time consuming. Good point was already raised to use Shaper/Elder scarabs. I would combine that with MR+IIR+fast clear speed build and supplement via chaos recipe. I would expect clearing a low tier maps to gain good MR/IRR/clear ratio, however it might sacrifice the atlas progression.
I've known about this for a long time. However, in all my time playing I have never once found an influenced right or amulet. Makes it hard to get sets.
i feel you, always kept full tabs of influencer items 3 of each item :D never got a full set once always 1-2 pieces missing of each
To get a couple or maybe 4 shards. You need 20 to get only 1 orb. You better use harbinger scarabs and you will get more shards than shaper or elder to get a full set. Besides you would wan't to identify at least the jewelry or the good bases in case you are missing something worth more than an exalt which sometimes can happen.
Yeah the amy's can be kinda rare, I think that would be the bottleneck most the time.
The thing is the most influenced items could be crafted easily to get more then 1ex per item.

It's something I've done off and on in group play. At the end of the day the hard part is getting hold of the 3 jewellery pieces unid. Influenced jewelry is potential money, not id'ing is a bet. Fwiw, this recipe has been in-game since conquerors
It is before conqueror. It uses to work for elder only or shaper only but 3.9 extended to all 6 influence all together.
It has no practical use as jewelry are hard to find and if you farm a lot t 14-16, even bad base like gold ring has a sell price way more than the price of ex shard
@@neohongkong yeah the only time it came into play for us was doing port runs at t5. The bases were low enough to not be super interesting, but my team would still id about half. You would never go out of your way to do it, but if already quant farming with an elder scarab it's supplemental

If your going vto do this ensure your not selling base types worth a lot more then the shares. For example some shaper tells I noticed go8ng for 50c unidentified
3:57 thats what everyone keeps saying but the best gear every league is from something i found.. Plus all those items you buy that are awesome most of them were from ided items not crafted as its a bit more difficult to craft mega items. so i mean if its junk item or a junk influence type then maybe but you still take that chance of killing a good item. I just found it this exists though so hey im happy.
I am SO mad that I didn't know this was a thing. I have left behind/vendored SO MANY influence items. Guess I will chalk it up to this being my 1st league.

Did not know this, I was completely starved of Exalts this League past a few lucky drops at the start and now I've hit a point where I literally can't upgrade my build. This is super helpful since it isn't really influenced by player-set market prices

Those elder/shaper, influenced rings rarely drop. Hundreds of hours farming shaper/elder gear, can count on one hand how many rings I have found.
Is really good using elder o shaper scarabs because cost nothing and helps you a lot for getting influenced items

Probably not the best if you want to straight buy the pieces but if you map and pick them up and stash for later very nice. It is roughly 3c per piece unid x9 for each spot = 27c & shard 4x = about 28c.
Could you please give us a rough approximation that how many maps need to be run to get two rings,one amulate and a belt.
The reason I am saying so is I already know this recipe, tried it too but it's way too much time consuming to get the jewelry segment items making it an inferior money making policy.
In case of chaos recipe all you have to do is go to mine and run jewelry nodes you are quickly filled with the set.

the first thing that came to my mind when i saw this was "lets do 100 alch and go maps with elder scarabs with my legacy mf gear in std and see how much money we make just from doing ex recipe" but then i realised i hardly have any stash space
Like you can get that many influenced of the same influence type to make a set. You get eventually but they don't drop that easy as chaos recipe, especially good luck on dropping influenced jewelry to make this recipe more than once every 3 or 4 maps. You are much better id those and selling what you can, the rest save for recipe for maybe a couple of shards from time to time, but you need 20 of those (5 set unid or 10 set) to get just one exalted orb.
I got 6 from opening every chest and barrel on white and yellow maps, most inefficient way ever but still got better results than when I used to grind this recipe on ssf.

FYI, quivers are not needed in the vendor recipes for both chaos orbs and ex shards. A bow is already enough, just like you need only one two-handed weapon for the recipes.

You do NOT need a quiver with bow... any two handed weapon is just one required.
At the current rate,its about 28 co worth of exa shards per full set...
Just do perception heists for div cards and you will do this in less than a hour lmao

Even though I don't use it this stage of the league, the un-identified chaos is ALOT faster than doing this. Rings and Amulets basically fall from the sky these days. You'll have 7 chaos orbs(1 exalt shard) in about 10 minutes.... It will take a long time(or luck) to come up with a full set of influenced items. .I know because I did that quite a bit in the early league....

@@sfuikm yeah, it was a thing for a long time, people just don't do it because takes to long to get a full set of the same influence, if you get 4ex shards per set and each shard is like 7-8c you are basicaly wasting time, you can make way more chaos than that by just doing chaos recipe with the chaos recipe tool or something like that
Problem with this recipe is that influenced jewelry is worth more than the 4 shards by just selling the bases in most league economies...
Did this the hard way for the past couple hours, going through tradesite and buying up influenced items. Not so easy with unidentified as most gear sits in the 3-5c area and rings/amulets going for 5-10c.
Tried my hand at identified items and did in the end make a profit from that as 98% of what you buy is 1c. But highly do not suggest doing this. Takes forever for trades to go through (especially when identified as you have to double the item amount).
Sure enough after ish 2 hours I was in +1 Raw Exalt but man it is an absolutely draining process.
You spend about 100c actually getting the items (if you run identified route) and then when you get the exalt, convert it to chaos (at the time of writing is 166c), you sit in a 60c~ profit. Which yeah sure can buy you one decent gearpiece that is not too craving but, man I'd honestly go back to Cluster Rolling.
In other words, not a good money making method, but nice to have when you run a lot of maps.
i tried this in the past. problem is shards are like 5 chaos... 4 a set ok so 20 chaos. In that time to get a set (gl with rings) you could of done 10-20 canyon runs and just got like 3 exalts in shards.
tbh`?`its more constant to have more than a value of 7C (for 1 shard) on 7-9 influenced items than have that shard. all together u could put them unidentified into the cash stash tab and say u make it 20C per influenced item just because they can roll that fukkin awesome!
There is a reason why nobody is talking about this.
It's tedious and not worth the time.
You can do it with the CR Enhancer, but I've made more than this by just selling influenced jewelry and run maps while not sorting this manually.

You definitely need some sort of extra influenced items source. Did Sirus multiple times, very few shaper/elder scarabs used and so far only did this recipe twice. It's a good recipe but you really rarely have all the ingredients. And it also takes a lot of stash space.
Instead of dedicating a quad tab to these, I'd suggest gathering jewelry sets (rings, amulet, and belt). Jewelry is usually the bottleneck here, and takes up much less space. Once you have a complete set of jewelry for a particular influence, just grab the rest as convenient.
Anyway, the real reason to go for this is that it's a more consistent value. Sure, that un-IDed Hunter Amulet might be work an exalt, but that's unlikely, especially after the first week or two of a league. Assuming that all the value is in the jewelry means that each bit of un-IDed jewelry is worth an exalt shard, no RNG involved.

This was a. Endorsement recipe since shaper came out. Just one cared about it after sirus was released because we couldn't perma sustain shaper influenced maps for free anymore. Collecting influenced items is a hassle for most people.

The most rare is rings, amulets, and belts, so only keep a few sets of the other items until you get some jewelry to complete it and THEN start picking up the other base types again
it was a thing for a long time but since the new crafting stuff happened/harvest was nerfed pure bases arent as valuable ad they were before.
e.g. back in blight (or metamorph) a ring that could roll curse on hit was already worth 1-2 ex shards, same with the amulet making up the 4 shards for only the jewel slots making the recipe kind of weak but well thats changed now

if u would vendor it anyways the recipe makes sense but not if u want to make real currency

Thanks man, didnt know this recipe untill now. Seems that only a few CC or streamers honestly reveals ways to get money. Other as you said only talk about chaos recipe and some other shitty ways to become rich. This is straight forward pure currency.

The Chaos Recipe tool also helps with the Exalted Shard Recipe. It less reliable, or so I’ve heard, than the Chaos recipe.

been using this since harvest league... make about 40ex in first 3 days mostly using this. Not gonna lie, wish people didnt make videos on it so i could keep the high profits lol, but in the end anyone could figure this out so good on you for video.

Now THIS is a massive noob trap, DO NOT waste your time doing this.
Chaos recipe is absolutely essential at the start of new league, to get your starting items, get your build going and maybe accumulate few cheap exalts. Chaos recipe can be even used by experienced groups on day 0-1 to acquire headhunter extremely fast.
Now about ex recipe - when you start getting all these influenced items, your build is pretty much established and now you're looking for big and expensive upgrades. Getting 20-30c for 4 ex shards IS NOT worth the time you have to put into this. You need to constantly pick up all that trash, you need more storage space, you need to constantly monitor what pieces you have and what you don't have and you have to make sure you don't vendor an expensive base. All that is not worth 20c, which you could easily make just doing 1-2 league mechanics in t16 map.
Forget this recipe.

interesting as a way to dispose of your crap for some currency, but I wouldn't call it worth to farm specifically, but as you've said in the video, nice as a kind of "side profit" thx for that!

Usually it's not worth it but right now the exalts are a bit expensive for some reason, usually each piece costs 1c so it takes 90c for an ex.
I still keep every influenced item and once and a while buy the last 1-2 pieces for turn in. Last league for example exalt was 100c and it was no worth the hustle to deal with trade for an extra 10c.
The idea is that you aren't really buying influenced items, but target farming them through a few different methods. But in theory you can do that too!
@@Omisid Yeah but the thing is that i'm not getting 1 of each at the same rate, usually you end up with like 2-3 sets which are lacking belts for example. I think it's better to buy the 1-2 piece you lack rather than have a stash full of items waiting for that last piece which doesn't drop. This is also why i ID them, it's much harder to find them unidentified on trade.

you can start collecting the jewelery, only when you have them go grab the rest, because they are easy drops
You do not need quiver for chaos recipe, no reason you'd need it for exalt shard recipe.
In delve im used to do this. Im bought the influenced items from poe.trade but if you will try you need to trade for long loong hours because people dont answer for your massages

dont use amulets of ilvl 82+, they can roll +1 lvl of gems, just a blue item with that mod will sell for a whole exalt.
The chance for an double influenced hunter, warlord amulet to drop with +1 gem is 1:105 for magic and 1:35 for rare.
Any suggestions for farming un-identified influenced items? Is distant memory the best?
You can use watchstone mods or heist trinkets with % chance to drop X influenced item!
the reason no one talks about this is cuz its NEVER worth it, any amulet base and most ring bases go for 10c+. So youre vendoring 30c if we ignore everything else to get 15c. Now thats quite the deal. There might be a niché if youre farming low tier influenced maps but most people who have enough bases to do this recipe spam awakener 8

Most "good" items nowdays will be two influenced ones, is pretty rare to get items with only one influence wich can be worth (shaper crystal belts or titanium shields, hunter boots, etc) but outside the known bases, is better to not id them and do the recipe.

This is the only recipe that I do every league
Its not so easy for me. 1. need alot of space 2. after 1 week not even 1 complete set. some jewellery still missing from each influence typ. bad result for the time investment to sort all of that
Tried it once a few leagues back. Managed to turn in two full sets for a few shards and then gave up on it. Just to much unfun work for little gain. With high exalt prices this league and watchstones that add more influenced items it might be a bit easier.
Yeah the current systems introduced last league + focusing on it specifically make this a lot more accessible!
Now, never really heart about it. In the last leagues I sold them all away after a while not caring which influences they had. Not again! :)

its pretty basic knowldege, if you dont know them you might not have seen enough of them to use this recipe at all.
Don't forget to quality it up for an extra shard or two all of them at 20%
