Sam McClure has only been saying Martin will be going to the Suns since 2017. 8 years of the same story, and it still hasn’t happened. Worst bloke in the media, closely followed by Kane Cornes and his inability to not rip into Richmond on a weekly basis.

Your club has bent over backwards over the years to accommodate him off the field. But you did it because he was such a good player.
Now, you guys need him to be a leader around the club and set the example to a crop of kids, but he has checked out.

It's a storm in a teacup. Richmond are buggered for this season anyway. They might offer him a contract of around 700k to stay. If he wants to go to Gold Coast that is fine.

Yze has been nothing short of incredible for richmond this yr
Our team is so starved of high end talent and injuries to the majority of our list, outside of 2 horrendous games against dogs/lions and probably 2 others we've been competitive in 3qtrs each game, not to mention we beat the 1st on the ladder and lost by a goal against 2nd
Yze is resetting and making his own new culture which will reap benefits in the long term
Yze is an easy target for a grubby mudslinger like cornes. Never a bad word about Kenny though and his on field cheering like they won a trophy 😂😂😂
Kane rambles on like someone desperate for relevance. Consistently going after Yze. Focus on Kenny, like someone said, acting like a pelican from the bench because they win by a point against teams they should be beating. How many years without a grand final appearance? Kane is so biased it’s unbelievable. What does he expect from Yze? It’s his first year as coach and the club is in a very tumultuous time combined with the worst run of injuries I’ve seen. It’s not a time for a hard edge to whip the players into gear. It’s time for development, Yze needs to keep the playing group together together and to make sure they’re still enjoying their footy despite the losses. If you gave port Adelaide the injury list Richmond has had this year they’d be bottom 4.

Dustin Martin was always a downhill skier. The reason why he's so great is because he was in a great team at the time. Gold Coast would waste money if he went there.
The same player was BOG in the majority of finals he played with 3 Norm Smith Medals. The opposite of being a downhill skier. 🤣🤣
He definitely benefited from the players around him, but he still had to execute.
His 2017 season is the greatest individual season I’ve ever seen, and he dominated the finals in each of Richmond’s flag years.
He will go down as one of the greats of the current era.

Yeah dunno how you can call someone a downhill skier when he stands up in the biggest game of the year 3/3 times. He just got bored playing in the regular season after his 2017 brownlow and flag year. You could tell he'd barely try until the finals then turn it on.
