It used to use the LAS-Scythe model but got replaced with this, same with the guard dog drone got its weapon replaced. I’d imagine it’s something along the lines of your squad receiving additional warbond metals or super credits if someone films the completion of certain objectives or the deaths of elite enemies like Titans and Striders. A quarter of your team not having access to a heavy weapon has to be worth it.

Look up Australia's use of myxomatosis on rabbits. We killed a bunch but made a bunch of immune rabbits that just bred again. Seems Super Earth is still doing the same shit lol
Honestly, having a shoulder mounted camera could be great for content creation. Imagine if you could upload them or have them seen on the SHIP TV too. I was just thinking about theatre mode the other day for this game, a camera would be nice but I think a drone would be much better for this.
The terminid control system is very neat with how they’re using it for mission and story. Feels fun with the live story basically. Also hope we get some armor with snow buff or anti terrain buffs in that war ons ❤
Plus the nerfs aren’t even bad, the ammo nerfs are fair and the quasar nerf, while rough for those used to it’s firerate, won’t stop it from being an effective option
Sickle and Eruptor got ammo reduced by half. Quasar got a 50% longer cooldown rate. Laser backpack got reduced damage by 30% Dominator got nerfed slightly but it was already struggling to kill compared to scorcher. Not that big nerfs my ass. They are straight up ruining certain weapons in the name of game balance. No worries. They will buff them up again in a few months once they see negative feedback from people.
@krishanuphukan80 I use the sickle a ton. Unless you're on a intense heat planet, I rarely get past my first clip any way. WGAS if the took 3 clips away, when you rarely get past clip number 1.

You can see new grenades and a new assault rifle and drum mag on the table inside your ship, it’s been there since the beginning I think lol like the stun and thermite, but look on the ground behind the cabinet
that small laser weapon looks like the las-12 tanto from the first game. I could be wrong but it wouldn't surprise me as the game could definitely use more 1 handed guns. As for the camera it might be an objective equipment for a new mission type. In the first game they had a mine detector that you had to call in and took your support weapon slot.
Hope some sort of melee buff/ weapon gets released at some point. The spikes on the hands of the winter warrior armour kind of got me thinking about it a bit. ❤
On the super-colony bit, maybe it's black because of all the Bug Oil? Like, we process bugs into a substance we use to power our starships, industry, and generally make FTL possible. So what happens if we kill so many bugs on a single planet that said planet is literally *covered* in the stuff? Sounds spooky.

About a month or 2 ago idk when exactly but there was an audio leak about a report of a black hole out on the edge of the galaxy and was supoosed to be hinting at the illuminate and that dark fluid almost maks that dark fluid look like that could be what that was hinting at. Excited to find out

I think the camera is linked to the background with an eye in it, since thats the Strohmann News symbol (recording/reporting missions??). Also, the planet blowing up is probably Meridia, since its now a Terminid supercolony and everywhere in the game is saying how Meridia is too far gone and unsavable.
The grenade pistol is great, but with fully maxed Eagle's, it's not really worth it for factories. The plasma pistol for mainly taking out Striders is what I need.
I would put my money on that being a gas grenade, not an EMP grenade, and frankly that makes me happy. Also, that new laser weapon. Possibly the laser shotgun, Trident?

They left the Inciderary Breaker alone, that's the only weapon you need against bugs.

Some of those armors are already in the game. They were preorder bonuses.
They should have more exclusive items where you have to complete XY and Z during a certain time period to unlock a skin or a different gun.

Devs confirmed that it’s the second Thursday of each month new warbonds will come out so every 4 to 5 weeks we get a new one
