- Although this may seem basic, how to apply foundation with a brush is actually a commonly searched topic so I'm going to break it down and explain how you can apply your foundation with a brush for a streak free and flawless makeup base.
In todays makeup video I'm going to show you how to apply foundation with a brush for a flawless base which is quick and easy. I'll explain which type of brush you should use and how to also apply your concealer with a brush too.

Wow you have really simplified the application of these essentials. I've never worn either foundation or concealer as I'm so intimidated by them. As a brown skin girl, I'm always paranoid that it will look obvious so I've always stayed away. You make it look so simple I love your technique and the way you explain and you've definitely made far less scary for me, thank you. I've never understood how light your concealer should be compared to your base, do you have any tips ? When you applied yours my mouth dropped thinking omg that's so light but you blended it into absolute perfection! You look absolutely stunning and your base looks flawless and natural. Magic. I’m sorry for not being the Nina that makes these videos but I have been using makeup for over twenty years. Also- Nina Ubhi and other RUclipsrs have always recommended that for your concealer? The kind for brightening under your eyes? It should be one shade lighter than your base.
Concealer is also commonly used for covering blemishes or other skin concerns. That concealer use should be the same shade as your foundation.
I really hope I’m not confusing you? You should have a concealer in two shades. One is one shade lighter than the foundation and the other one is the same shade as your foundation. I hope that makes sense? 😅❤

Nina, I see that you love your concealer and you really go crazy applying it. I noticed you don't apply color corrector before applying your concealer. Can you share your secret on how to avoid concealer turning gray after application?
I agree - some are very hard and blunt... this blush is sooo soft! I love it - thanks for the recommendation!

I usually use an oil blend as my moisturizer. Is a cream base moisturizer a better option when using foundation? Can you tell I'm a complete amateur when it comes to make up?
I think it depends on your skin type. I have dry skin & will use an oil based product first/serum then moisturiser. I prefer to layer as opposed to putting it on together.
This is to anyone including Nina ,So to make sure I understood use of using brush apply concealer after but if using beauty blender apply concealer before ? 😅 I’ve been playing make up and I feel with the brush you can see the “brushing” but this technique is amazing

I do and either/or a colour corrector so a combo of either.

Would the brush tips work for oily skin? I have tried it and it cakes my face...
I've found a dense brush works a lot better back in the day when I had oily skin; Huda beauty's brushes I really good & quite affordable
